I worked with Paul Smulkys to find a rental in Lincoln Square. Paul was incredibly responsive, helpful, and personable. Terrible realtors. Came to check out my condo that was remodeled and said we would have to list it to the comps (not remodeled) of $135k. They don't know the market. Decided to sell it on my own and received MULTIPLE offers at 145-150k. These realtors just wanted to make a quick buck, they didn't care about the market. Glad I didn't go with them.

We had the pleasure of working with Dan Springer and the Sullivan Springer team. As first-time homebuyers, there were many aspects of the buying process that felt intimidating and confusing. To make matters more complicated, we were also moving from California and began the process remotely. Dan, however, put us at ease. He was informative, walking us through the timeline of the housing search and addressing our (many!) questions and concerns. He was reassuring, staying positive over several rounds of being outbid and helping us refine our preferences and strategy. He was competent and organized, knowledgeable about our intended neighborhood (Uptown) and always on time for showings and meetings. As we progressed through an accepted contract, he never missed important deadlines and was diligent in communicating with the seller’s team. Finally, he was personable and transparent. Dan made it clear that he would work with us as long as it took to find the right home, and even during our final walkthrough we did not feel pressured. Settling into our new place these past few months, it’s hard to imagine it could have gone any other way. We feel very lucky to have worked with Dan, and we know he will continue to help others in their search with the same care and expertise.
