Total scam. I paid for property management for 4 months. There were two small maintenance things needed on the property - gutter cleaning and fixing the railing for the stairs up to the door. I also needed to rent out one of the two units. During the 4 months I paid for property management, they successfully organized a cleaning for the unit. They didn't manage to rent out the unit and they couldn't get their maintenance person to do either of the tasks.

They were unable to rent the unit, even at below market rate. I successfully signed a lease with a new tenant within 3 days of voiding my contract with the company. So the issue was obviously not the property.

Alongside this, the listing they posted had no description, even though I wrote one. The listing was posted from at least 5 different facebook accounts not associated with the company. My tenants started getting endless junk emails and physical mail from mortgage brokers. They denied selling my tenant's information, but I am very suspicious.

Everyone I spoke to was rude. Most people seemed totally incompetent. I asked to file a complaint, and no one responded. I emailed. I phoned. I was ignored. It took over 6 weeks for them to send my final check, because they sent it to the wrong address, despite having sent all previous checks to the correct address.

Also, they are laughably behind in their use of technology. Tenants had to mail their checks or use a wildly outdated online system which charged a surcharge. Then the company physically carried physical checks to a bank to deposit them, then I was sent a physical check to deposit myself. Insanity when there are free and easy systems to take care of this for you.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Total scam.

I highly recommend working directly with Mr. Blake Pryor at Coldwell Banker Commercial Devonshire Realty. Blake was highly responsive, knowledgeable, courteous, and answered every question we had. He also provided support to us when we began the closing process and needed to complete additional paperwork regarding the building purchase.

I think it is extremely important when making large purchases, that you are able to work with someone who remains responsive to your needs, even after the sale/buying process is complete. Thank you for all of your help, Blake!
