Think carefully about this if you want to move to these departments.

Your parking is never safe, they steal whatever is in your car.

Inside the hallways everything is very dirty, full of hair. People leave their trash outside and outside for many days and I smell rotten. There is also dog poop inside the hallways.

Think carefully about everything, you also complain at the office and nobody does anything

Coburn Crossing is a great place to live! Unmatched location. Beautifully kept grounds. Updated and clean apartment units. The property manager Max is amazing to work with. Very professional and communicative. When deciding to upgrade my unit she took the time to walk me through all of the options. I appreciated it greatly.

Been at Coburn Crossing now for the last 4 years and I can definitely say that the last year and a half has been the absolute BEST due to our property manager Max and the awesome maintenance tech Jay!!!

My experience with Max has been amazing! She is super helpful, kind, and professional. Anytime I have a question or concern she reaches out immediately and is always attentive and willing to accommodate in any way that she can! She’s a goddess!!!! She has really turned this complex around in such a positive way and it’s great to see!

Also, Jay the maintenance tech is an awesome fella!!! Always around to help or answer any maintenance questions we have with the biggest smile on his face! He’s an absolute gem.

Lastly, location wise Coburn is an awesome place to live since it’s so close to downtown Truckee and many other places! Max & Jay are great and I can’t say enough great things about them and our apartment!!!

It is a very expensive place to live. Current major concerns are trash fees, which apparently fluctuate due to previous residents who dumped things like mattresses erroneously in dumpster zones. Residents share the cost collectively?

Management and maintenance are cooperative and amazing at what they do. The property management company, however, should be questioned for some of the practices they're OK with.

Changing this review to one star. Been trying to call the office for almost 5 days. No one is answering and no one is responding to emails since Maxine left.

Not sure what's going on but it's impossible to reach the office by phone or email since the leasing manager changed. Desperately trying to figure out when my lease is up and discuss promise to pay along with multiple unresolved maintenance issues. This is not the maintenance teams fault, just a large oversight by management.

If you're considering renting here run don't walk in the opposite direction until the ownership of the complex decides to care about this property.

I absolutely love living here!
I have been here a couple years now, Max the manager is especially amazing, very kind and helpful, friendly and kind attitude. She has helped me through multiple issues and gotten them resolved in a timely manner and that is very much appreciated on my end 🙂 They have a great dog park that is well kept. The property is beautiful, yes it can be expensive but hey, we live in one of the most beautiful places, it's expensive everywhere here. Jay always is happy and my dog loves the both of them, I could not be happier living here.

We left the apartment 3 months ago and we still have not received the return of the deposit plus 1 month's rent that they charged us by mistake. Before we left, Jay (the maintenance man) reviewed and approved its return, this is too much!! We have always paid our rent on time and respected the rules of the place. We are waiting for Max, the Manager, to resolve this immediately.

I am literally SO THRILLED with Coburn and Max! I moved from Los Angeles without having seen the apartment, just trusting it since I was having such a hard time finding a place in Tahoe. It's SO NICE. It was built only four years ago; the neighbors are super nice. It's VERY dog-friendly, and there's a little "bark park." The amenities are SO NICE! In-unit washer dryer and dishwasher, which are really quality appliances. LOTS of storage, which is great. And I've had SUCH great experiences with Max, she's been so responsive and over the top kind and thoughtful - bringing packages that were mis-sent, and following up to make sure my move was going well.

Building D is right by the highway, so if you're sensitive to noise, FYI. Literally, other than that, I'm SO HAPPY! Literally dreams come true.

Living in Coburn Crossing has been fantastic! The community is friendly and well-maintained, with beautiful surroundings. The apartments are modern and spacious, and the management team (Max) and the gentlemen from Maintenance (Jay) are always helpful and responsive. Plus, the location is perfect, with easy access to shopping, dining, and parks. Highly recommend Coburn Crossing for anyone looking for a great place to live.
