They have been with us every step of the way and have been up front on our move in timeline. Working with their partner at the design center was easy, they offer a multitude of high end options and you work with true professionals who have many years of experience in interior design. I have been living in my new construction home by City Ventures for four months now. I purchased in Long Beach, CA. Super pleased with the quality of my home and the amazing customer service the whole City Ventures team gave me and continues to give me.

The house came with solar panels, high end appliances, energy efficient features (e.g. a Nest thermostat included in every home) and cutting edge modern features. For example, my front door allows me in via code or key and I can access it with an app to allow someone in via a time limited code. Like giving my cleaning lady a code to get in that lasts for a 24-hour window.

The workman ship was excellent when I moved in and some minor touch up work was addressed immediately.

Though the construction is solid, both my neighbors have surround sound and I can hear the bass in my home even when it is on low. Same thing with music if they are playing it loud, I can hear it in my house. Probably my only peeve.

The staff:
Janine: Janine was excellent on follow up, kept me reminded of deadlines and next steps and always friendly and fun.
Jenna: Jenna accommodated all my eccentric needs before the house was done, e.g. I was obsessed with coming to see it on my work at home Fridays. The social media she posted regularly gave me insight into what was happening.
Dale: He is a super star. Answered all questions and he came into my home after moving in and helped me with some items I could not figure out. He is on top of everything and gets it done.
Louis: Super responsive, helpful, gets things done. He handled my final walk-through and helped with some issues after I moved in.
Iggy: Took over for Janine when she moved to a new complex so this was after I closed escrow and his customer service is outstanding. He follows up on things before asked.

This is the worst new home builder company you can ever do business with! They truly don't care about the customers who pays their paychecks. They have no clue of managing the sub contractor to do their jobs. They have no organization of the process and do everything backwards to just have to fix and re-do items over. Timelines is a joke they run a minimum of 3 months to 6 months plus while you keep on paying rate lock extension fees. I strongly believe this is their business plan to make their customers desperate that they can't do nothing but sign documents on a incomplete home. Especially if you go with their lender for the builder credits that they take all back in fees. Do not sign docs until the home is 100% complete if not you will pay weeks and months of interest on a home you haven't moved in. The sales manager at tramonte is a racist. She is a two face totally fake. The construction team never can give you a answer of the process and completion and when you bring up issues they dismiss them and say they will get done but way after the fact. These homes are not cheap and if you don't want a head ache or put your family homeless while they give you excuses on not completing your home like promise them please purchase your home from any other builder! Any common honest business man can do a better job than their employees. If you do your research you will see the same issues and I knew this going into my purchase and regret I ever did business with them. You should also reach out to the home buyers in the community you are purchasing and everyone will tell you their horror stories. I hope this saves the stress and headaches by convincing you to do business with another company.

Very shoddy workmanship, no love for what they do 🙁 Really sad. The first home we bought was decent, some minor things here and there, but for an almost million dollar home, it was eh. This time it goes much further. More expensive house, worse materials, construction, and quality is just poor.
