Very nice people. Experience could have been better. I think they just give you the run around. I applied for an apartment and was the first application they received. I had my husband call and check in on it about 2 days in and they told him they were waiting on verification. I called later that same day and they told me they rented it already. I didn’t understand why they would tell him something different and I thought it was a first come first serve basis. Just know if rental or job takes a long time to verify your information they will not wait on you. My experience was disappointing and confusing for the most part but this company does have clean nice properties so it’s understandable that they go fast just wish communication was better and wish I could of had a better understanding on how the application process worked. I’d give it a 2 stars

The application for a rental home that I applied to said first come first serve. I was the first one to apply for the home. I applied for the rental last Friday. The employee who helped me was kind and respectful. Then, I received a phone call on Tuesday notifying me they were still working on my application. She told me I would be notified if I was approved or denied. Now it’s Friday and I never received a phone call back. I have been waiting all week. I had to find out online that the home was already rented out. This is unprofessional and disappointing. That is fine if I was denied but at least I would have had time to apply to another home before the week was over. There is only one percent rental homes available and every day counts. The least I expected was at least a email that we were denied since we paid to have the application processed.

We have had the pleasure of working with City Real Estate for about 4 years. They have done an excellent job managing our rentals in Bakersfield, and they were even willing to take on a project in Los Angeles. Adrian and Lyndsi work relentlessly to stay on top on vacancies, professionally address tenant concerns, and provide valuable insight in navigating remodels. Adrian’s knowledge of construction, real estate, and his background in home inspections, coupled with Lyndsi’s meticulous bookkeeping, scheduling, and client relations skills, make this property management group stand out from the competition.

One of the most prejudice management companies in Bakersfield. So if you look anything other than white, don't bother going there because they won't rent any property to you. If I could I wouldn't give them a star at all.
