Nasty place to live! Not a family environment like promised. Lousy mgmt and maintenance. They NEVER listen! Apts is run down and needs a lot of tlc. The carpets need to be replaced, smells awful all the time. Hoped every other week shampooing the carpets would help it. Nope. Tile is stained yellow. The walls need better patching in areas and a major paint job! The shower/tub is severely cracked. When I was moving into the apts mgmt told me I would get in on the 7th of the month. Had everything moved out of my old place. Went to move into the apts & mgmt didn't have my apt ready! People were still living in it! Mgmt let me put my stuff in the mgmt apt till I could move in. I stayed in a hotel in Pinetop waiting for mgmt to be done cleaning, repainting, shampooing carpets and repairing previous occupants damages. I spent 2 wks in a hotel & spent $2,000 on room, food, gas going back & forth to St. Johns & Pinetop because they weren't ready for me to move in. Frustrating and a waste of my savings! When I did eventually move in (the 16th of the month) Idky it took so long! The place smelt awful like it never had been cleaned. The cabinets had old food, nasty! The walls were not painted over! They spot painted, the spot paint doesn't match the coat of paint so the walls look terrible. Its really embarrassing when people unexpectedly come to visit. The carpet smells horrible. Like someone crunched food into it & let it mold & food was on the floor. Mgmt told me they hired someone to clean. An obvious lie. Thump tacks everywhere. Not even sure what damages were fixed, looked like no work had been done. I had to clean everything myself. Even walls were plastered w/ something I am not sure. I am 7 months prego during this situation btw. At the apt there's trash littered everywhere. Condoms, cigarettes, broken glass, half eaten candy, & plastic trash, shoes, broken toys and broken bikes. The people are very rude. When my kids played outside an adult tromped over their toys while they played & broke their toys. I addressed it to mgmt & nothing happened. I now take my kids to the public park which is irritating I have to drive elsewhere for my kids to enjoy the outdoors! Beyond unacceptable!! When I 1st moved in I had no hot water, no cooling in 98 degree summer weather & no working oven for over a week! I told mgmt & she told me it was because I didn't have my electricity on. Yes I did. The lights worked just fine. The problem was they needed to fix the cooler which they knew about but never wanted to admit it. They needed to reset the breakers. I suffered because they couldn't just do their job! The laundry room is public. I used it one night, left my laundry unsupervised, some kid rummaged through my stuff & stole my sons shoes. Later on I found out they also stole clothes. The problem was never resolved by mgmt. So the kid who stole from me never learned a lesson of stealing. I bet it will happen again! So I don't use the laundry room. I go to a friends to do my laundry. Irritating. I'm a single mother & there's 5 of us. Our bedroom doors don't close, no privacy! Imagine trying to get dressed everyday. Every time I see maintenance he says he will fix it & never shows up! I try to be patient but then I see what he is doing instead of taking care of my doors, which is the usual chatting w/ the smokers makes me livid. I have had a drunk man try to break&enter at night, it hasn't been the 1st time dealing w/ a drunk here either. I've also dealt with someone keying my van. Its not smoke free buildings either like the signs say. At night & weekends adults smoke in areas they are not supposed to. I've lived here for only 2 months & encountered this much drama. Do NOT move here! You will regret it! I sure do!
