Charmayne is a fantastic Realtor. I first discovered her 7 years ago when my mother was moving from Illinois to Kingman, AZ. My mom purchased a new home, and the builder cooperated with Charmayne, which was essential given that my mother and I were both in Illinois during construction. Charmayne helped us be comfortable with construction progress that we could not physically monitor.

Fast forward 7 years to 2023. My mother's mobility and ability to safely live independently in a three-bedroom house has deteriorated. Time came to relocate her to a retirement community that could provide as-needed assistance beyond what neighbors could help with.

Charmayne was the only realtor even considered by my mother and me. Even with my memories of her help 7 years ago, I am truly astonished at the guidance and help she provided.

First, she recommended a price we considered reasonable, given the current market (interest rates, etc), recent sales, and homes currently on the market.

Secondly, she immediately and confidently assessed how the house should be presented to prospective buyers. Everyone loves everything in their home, but Charmayne has the experience to know what others will visualize as something that could be in their own home, and what a prospective buyer would view as "just not their home".

Finally, Charmayne and her team...and even her family (including her mother and husband!) jumped in to help prepare the home for sale. Remember....I live in Illinois and my mother needed to move to Illinois for her own physical safety. Charmayne and team helped advertise and run a garage/house/estate sale to find buyers for much of the furnishings and belongings that weren't being moved. For things not purchase during the sale, her husband James brought teams of men to help move things from the house to local charities. We were so happy that nothing needed to be thrown out (well, except used ketchup bottles and the like!).

I arrived in Kingman on October 30th, and wanted to be home in Illinois for Thanksgiving. Without Charmayne's fantastic help, I would have had to return to Kingman after Thanksgiving to complete the preparation to sell the house. Travel costs alone would have been several thousand dollars. Instead, Charmayne helped prepare the house for sale without my having to return to Kingman.

And...the best part of the story...my mother received an offer one week after I flew back to Illinois. She closed two weeks later. My mother did not have to carry the cost of the house for months; she sold very quickly. I can't imagine that having happened without the help of Charmayne Keith!
