I like my little apartment and am very happy here. Since I was fleeing a domestic abuse situation, safety was a priority for me and the cameras and lighting are a definite plus. The property itself is maintained well and I’m enjoying the autumn foliage from my bedroom window. The train depending on what train (Amtrak or Patco) can be a little loud, but I find it charming at times.
I’m looking forward to purchasing furnishings and decor to make it completely my own. Maintenance man Pat is the best & you can tell he legitimately cares about the residents Elisa is the absolute most cheerful & helpful person ever! and Katy is super sweet & kind as well.

The property is clean, well kept, and the property is beautiful.
I've been to countless apartment complexes and this by far has surpassed all expectations and desires.

Morgan was the primary contact person whom I've dealt with, she has gone above and beyond for me and I know she does this for everyone.

Morgan also told me about her co-worker Alyseia DelaCruz who would also be able to assist me in my apartment hunt.

Morgan from the leasing office at Burnt Mill Apartments is truly an asset to the Morgan Properties Company.

I recently filled in an application for Burnt Mill and i had the best experience for my first time apartment. They worked everyday with me to make sure i got every document i needed in. They gave alot of information that really help me better understand also. It was a easy process for me. The management team is also phenomenal! Everyone in the leasing office was just so nice and friendly. The property itself is beautiful. I already love it and i havent moved in yet. For my first apartment i am very satisfied and happy with my decision.

Long story short, I would never willingly live here again.
I resided at Burt Mill apartments for about 8 months. Several things made living here a nightmare. I lived in one of the buildings right next to the train tracks, and despite being told I’d barely notice the sounds of the train, it was a constant nuisance. It came by like every 5 minutes, was extremely loud, and you could hear it even with the windows and doors closed.
I had an upstairs unit, and it was unbearably hot, even in the fall weather. The temperature inside the apartment was even worse in the summer. There was only one tiny air conditioner in the living room and it barely cooled that one room at all. It was always like 80 degrees inside. No fan or AC in the bedroom, so some nights we had to sleep on the couch in the living room just to keep cool.
This apartment had a major roach problem. The basement was full of them. I kept my apartment super clean and even then I’d found like one or two live roaches inside the living room or kitchen a few times a month. If you go outside at night, the sidewalks and front steps are literally crawling with hundreds of giant roaches. I’ve lived in apartments in major cities before and have never seen as many roaches as I saw at Burnt Mill.
The dog park they have was so poorly kept. No one cleaned up after their dogs. I stopped letting my puppy go in there to play because there was literally piles of dog poop everywhere. The trash cans provided to throw out poop bags were always overflowing.
I also had a huge issue with my neighbor constantly leaving dog treats everywhere. My neighbor was very kind and I understand that it was meant to be a nice gesture, but it made things incredibly hard when I brought a new puppy home.
So, no I do not recommend living here if you have a choice. The only positive was that the management office was always nice and responded right away if I had an issue.
