I have lived at Olive Court for 12 years. It has been my only residence since relocating to California from Ohio. I am so appreciative of the amenities, the management team and owners. The facility is well maintained and secured. There are endless events field trips that feed my adventurous spirit. My daughter will attain age 55 in a few years and she can’t wait to join me 🤗

I lived at a Bur-Cal managed property from about 2017 to 2021 at 376 N Hollywood Way. I have waited until I finally became a home owner to post this review, knowing I will ABSOLUTELY never have to rent from them again:

In 2019 my wife and I were experiencing random bouts of dizziness and other weird symptoms, we thought we may have had some virus but the symptoms persisted. We tried everything and eventually that included having a tech come out to test for carbon monoxide. Lo and behold, they found 5 times the amount in our kitchen which was not ventilated properly. We immediately turned off our gas and notified Bur-Cal who moved at about a snail’s pace to fix it. At one point I called them and told them I was going to deduct the square footage of the kitchen from our rent since we can’t use it. The woman I was speaking with, Ashley, told me I could not do that. I told her that I felt I could since the kitchen was useless and “our appliances are literally killing us.” To which Ashley responded, and I quote: “Well, not ALL of your appliances are killing you.” End quote.

To this day my wife gets feelings of vertigo and is on medication. Rent from Bur-Cal at your own risk.

And Ashley if you still work there and can see this, I got a new kitchen and my appliances are much more well behaved. I hope the same can be said for your tenants’. ✌️

Leasing managers Derrick & Christina are very helpful and respond in a timely manner, they made leasing process as simple as it could get. The availability of filling out applications and touring properties was very convenient. The property is well maintained and cleaned on a weekly basis. Maintenance request are easy to make & taken care of in a vey timely manner & also at your convenience. Larry is a great on- site apartment manager & is always on-site with a friendly smile. Laundry, pool & jacuzzi areas are maintained clean. Family oriented community and great neighbors! Parking garage is convenient with easy elevator access.

My experience with Burcal Management has been wonderful. We moved into one of their properties a little over a year ago. The building is wonderful, safe and secure, clean, and friendly. The manager "Tim" is awesome. The building owner has been great and seems very nice. As well as If we need anything fixed it is addressed in a timely manner. The rent is reasonable. It was a good move, and we are very happy.

Although the complex is over 30 years old, it is well-maintained and the onsite management team is the best I've experienced in over 20 years of apartment living. The one bedroom & den that we live in is spacious, comfortable, and has a great view!

I'd recommend Canyon Club Senior Apartments to anyone!!!

I have lived at one of their buildings for the last year. So far it has been a great experience, Bur Cal is quick to work on any maintenance required, they keep the building clean and they are friendly. I only deduct a star because rent is a little bit too expensive.

They took my home. Pure greed, and vindictiveness rules Diana Ramirez, the manager at bur cal. She was cruel to me and also acting out of spite. I had been awarded ERAP Covid relief program to pay for my backrent which they refused. They wanted to charge triple what I was paying, and they push lower earning people to the streets. When I went back to get my packages, property manager blew me off, ignored my calls. Unscrupulous, corrupt enterprise. Don't rent here.
