Finding a property in San Francisco is an unusually difficult process. I found Shana to be a breath of fresh air in an environment of rude and uncaring leasing agents.
I also found Brick & Timber to be one of the few places that link to a checking account to help unverified income makers to become qualified. Everyone needs a place to live. Not everyone is cookie cutter and no job is really secure. After my exhaustive search, I found this is one of the few places that understand this. King is the manager of the leasing department for B&T and is the one responsible for the quick approval. Thank you King and Shana.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I had a great experience with Michelle while looking for apartments in San Francisco.

I was looking to to transfer up to SF from Los Angeles so there were already a lot of complications but Michelle was very patient and went above and beyond to help me find the right place.

She made time to do a Facetime tour of multiple locations with me and made time when I was in town to show me various apartments that she felt might fit my needs.

The team also advocated well for me and made accommodations to make sure I was comfortable with my purchase before I agreed to a lease. They were very patient while I made my decision and made it a point to inform me if anything changed in a timely manner.

The units themselves were all beautifully remodeled with modern, name brand appliances.

After signing the support team (Julia, Nia, & Rosella) were all super helpful in getting me the documentation I needed, answering questions, and getting me setup in the apartment.

I would highly recommend Brick & Timber in the future. An all-star team all around.

My family and I had a great experience connecting with Ariel from tenant support through Brick and Timber, she was very helpful and will get back to us in a timely manner. Repair requests were taking care of right away etc. We also loved our onsite manager Mike on 666 OFarrell building. He is a great manager. Very helpful and always taking care of the tenants and the building. Including the outside of it. Thank you for providing such good services.

These property managers are terrible. I am a neighbor who shares a backyard with a large apartment complex in Berkeley. B&T has leased to some sorority students who don’t care about the neighborhood and have loud parties. The other students are so careless that they leave their bright lights on at all hours of the night shining into all of our windows.

I have tried to get in touch with a human property manager from this company to address these issues several times however only get someone from the Philippines and email with them.

Surprisingly good experience! The backdrop: Working with real estate management companies is - at the very least - frustrating. Sometimes it's hard to understand how the companies stay in business. The other issue is the services they use to manage information, and do checks and reviews, suck. It's like the engineers who designed them NEVER actually used them. They also seem to consistently hire badly. But, this time - despite having to deal with those inane 3rd-party services - the people at B+T were incredibly helpful, rational, quick to respond, and a pleasure to work with. Jayson in support, in particular, made sure no obstacle got in the way and the process was very timely. Although the interaction was minimal with Michelle, the agent, she was also stellar. Professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive. Really good experience! Thanks!
