You can hear everything from the upstairs neighbors, and the constant dog barking is unbearable. Management, is rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend living here! Laundry rooms constantly dirty. Laundry lady constantly on her phone. Maintenance men racing in the golf carts or buying beer across the street. Office folk think they are the owners. Even desperate people please seek elsewhere to live.

This place is sketchy, between their application process and using unit deposits like bargaining chips for higher $ due to competition, they clearly collect their "application fees" from as many people as they can, allowing duplicate entries across the board, then deny the grand majority despite a "holding" deposit, so as to bank in on the $35 per individual fee, and when it comes time to returning your deposit? WHOA! Good luck, takes at least a month to receive the check, and when you do, I hope for your sake it was under a single individual because in my case, they apparently wrote out their first check to multiple individuals (my fiancée and I).

These dimwits decided to separate our names with a semicolon, which the entire banking world apparently doesn't understand nor have a policy to interpret, therefore the check cannot be cashed. AND / OR are REALLY REALLY new depictions in the banking world, even though it's been the standard for as far back as I can remember. Avoid this place at all costs, there are better and cheaper living arrangements in the Central Coast, keep hunting you'll be happy you did.

As a visitor, my experience at this apartment complex was marred by continuous disruptions from loud fireworks and a noticeable police presence. The atmosphere felt tense and unsettling, raising concerns about safety and the overall quality of life for residents. These issues detract from any positive aspects the complex may offer, making it difficult to recommend as a desirable place to live or visit.

The Bordeaux Apartment complex was a nightmare from day one. It's worse than living in Army barracks – at least there, you have some semblance of order and respect. Here, chaos reigns supreme.

Not only was the laundry constantly stolen, making it impossible to keep up with basic chores, but it felt like a warzone with fireworks going off in the middle of the night. Sleep was a luxury.

Parking? Forget about it. You're better off circling the block for hours hoping for a miracle. And if you think peace and quiet would come during the day, think again. Constant construction makes it feel like you're living on a perpetual building site.

Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a place to call home. Bordeaux Apartments is a disaster waiting to happen.

Lived there a while back and my experience was similar to many current reviewers'. I came home one day to find a huge old fan blowing in my hall because apt upstairs had a leak. They entered my place and set up the fan when I was gone for the day. I was pretty upset. They kept a huge chunk of my deposit because the shower doors had some soap residue. Good location but not the best place I've rented. The current rental rates are outrageous, as in many places these days.

Ugh. San Luis is expensive and these apartments are about the only affordable place to live but BEWARE. You won't get your full deposit back. The pictures included in this review were from our move in day. Our apartment also reeked of cigarettes when we moved in. Probably deeply embedded into that modern popcorn ceiling! Old carpet that gave us black feet and rashes if we sat or laid down on it. When we were moving out the manager just walked right into our apartment and said "the carpet looks great!" because it was one of our major complaints. Old appliances literally on their last legs. Our hot water heater flooded several times and they would band aid it but never fix it and cared less about it ruining our belongings. Our bedroom closet flooded from the outside hose bib and they never came to finish fixing it. They kept a third of our security deposit for not having tub drains and some outside light fixture that I don't even think existed when we moved in. Black mold from all the flooding. The only consistency was annual rent increases and rude attitude from the front office staff. We had notes taped to our door constantly about being charged for things that didn't exist, and when I would call to prove they had the wrong apartment, they would say 'just ignore it if it doesn't apply to you'. They don't show you the actual apartment that you'll rent, they show you a model instead. You just may be the lucky tenant who gets the corner apartment near the dumpster. Atascadero exceeds the 100° mark during summer. Hot garbage.

It's a nice place to live and we have a great location. The only drawback is the interiors are from the 80's but you still get a $100 rent increase every year. The maintenance crew respond quickly and are all very friendly and the office staff are pretty much always available if you have an issue.

Craphole apartments that they are now renting out for just over $1500 for a two bedroom. If you get a bottom floor apartment you better hope you don't get kids up top. The apartments need to be totally upgraded. I loved at Dry Creek apartments (same owners) over 24 years ago and they are the same as they were then. I paid 600 back then. They r getting more money but no upgrades! My daughter loved in Bordeaux. Her hot water tank broke and leaked all into the closet and they did nothing to stop the mold. They replaced the hot water tank but didn't bother with the wall.

It was a place to live when I needed it in a pinch. Some of the maintenance men were useless. I fixed more then they did. One of the office ladies were very nice. They charged more then the place was worth.. Almost 1700 for a place where something has to be fixed almost once a month. Thankfully I won't ever be back there.
