Solid, straight forward property management of a large selection of nice rent/lease units in various locations with styling, pricing & amenities throughout the spectrum for the quality of living you desire.
You start your search the best way- on the website at BorbaProperty.com and click on available units...no driving around, no calling on the phone, no wasting your time wondering how much? when? where? looks like? Spanish speaking? you get all that on your smart phone 24/7 with clear descriptions, rent amount, deposit amount, qualifying factors and pictures so you can make your short list and get this one done. See, visit and walk thru your choices on your schedule, no waiting on someone.
When you move in, managing your tenancy is very user friendly via the Borba Portal where residents have the resources and support as if you drove down the freeway, took the elevator up, went into the offices, sat down and waited to be helped after a tough work day...instead do it from your dining table, on your lunch break and even while your in the wash room. Its the digital platform for the busy people we are
Of course, if you need, the.Analog method of driving waiting is available.
They take care of their tenants. Check it out. I posted pics of my own modest living..works for me....welcome to the Borba homes- make it yours!

I am writing this review as a warning for any future tenants of Borba Investment Realty. This by far has been the worst experience I have ever had, as I write this review I am constantly bombarded by what sounds like a group of people dragging a piano across the floor mixed with the screeching of two kids fighting. Contact was made to Borba several times including audio, video and decibel measurements from all times of the day & night showing how tenant above has continually violated the legal noise standard of California (Section 415 of the Penal Code). When Borba finally decided to take action after several months of back and forth emails, a caution letter was left on the wrong tenants apartment, instead of the unit directly above which has been expressed in detail several times. Besides the constant noise, there is no upkeep on the property itself, there is garbage being stored in every corner including the laundry room by the other tenants. Please take caution and be aware of the lack of professionalism from the staff, property care & overall respect this company shows its tenants.

Terrible neighbors. Maintenance issues with their building impact my home, and Borba doesn't return phone calls. And their building has a number of unused parking spaces while the residents park on the street. Charge less for parking and help out the neighborhood.

This is another company that false advertisers to get application fees. I checked my own credit thoroughly before applying and was denied due to an account the 3 credit bureaus nor myself can find anywhere in my report.
I called to dispute and was spoken to very rudely, put on hold several times, and had none of my questions answered. They never sent me a copy of my consumer report/reason for denial. This company just stole $35 from my credit card for an apartment that has no pictures listed, and states it is "not ready" a week after it was said to be move-in ready. I think I dodged a bullet, glad to not rent from them.

This company is a complete scam. Desiree and Melissa/Melinda are both incompetent, rude and lack basic communication skills. They gave my family the run around for two weeks claiming we had been "approved" yet asking for more information to be verified without reasonable time before threatening to cancel the application or take in applications to be processed before ours just for their lack of communication. They also kept upping the deposit price in attempt to get us to pull the application just for them later to cancel it themselves. They don't respond to voicemails, texts or emails in a timely manner either, expect to speak to voicemail or wait for the sporadic texts they send. I literally had to call from a number they didn't recognize to have them answer only to be transferred several times and still got no solid information. These people are just after money for application fees and don't want to rent their listings. The listings on their site are not accurate either, when asking about several listings that were labeled "available now" we were denied access to even a viewing. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Take your money literally anywhere else.

I am very disappointed with Borba Realty. I lived in an one bedroom apartment in Lakewood on Pixie Ave for a year. My security deposit was $1650. The contract that I signed stated that normal wear and tear of the apartment was not taken out of the deposit, only the cleaning. The unit was in decent shape. I took pictures before I left. Three weeks later, when I received my deposit, they charged me $606.94 to paint a one bedroom apartment that is less than 600 square feet!!! I hope you don’t rent from this establishment, if you do, make sure you read your contract, and take pictures of the apartment when you leave. If you don’t, they will lie and say the apartment was a mess!! Be Careful! (Rented from June 2017 to July 2018)

This was hands down the worst property management company in history. I realize they always manage places in the ghetto (thank god we moved) but they don’t help anyone in the office because of “COVID” when every other office is open. My neighbors threatened to assault us, broke into our vent, damaged our property, I’ve witnessed my neighbor get arrested on two seperate occasions. My wife contacted them about RATS and it took almost a week for them to get back to us. They send people who obviously aren’t licensed contractors. They don’t have an office because if they did, people would riot there, RUUUUNNN.

This company is running scam. So, I just recently moved out from a location they started managing about a year and a half ago. I'd been there for 10 years and have a great relationship with the owner. With that said, I had a pre walk thru and a final walk thru which were both fine. Fast forward to today, I get their "itemized" list and the letter states I owe them a balance of $700+ for erroneous charges.. I am being charged for the bathroom and bedroom doors which had no damage to them but were old. Not sure how I'm responsible for old doors that had no damage other than normal wear and tear over the years. Also, these doors were left in the same condition when I moved in. They are also charging me for the window blinds, yet again not damage but they are old. So, the best part is that I contacted the owner and she was not aware of any of these charges. We have a great relationship and not once over the 10 years that I was her tenant did I fail a payment nor would I not take care of the place where I live. She was shocked and agreed that the doors were the original doors from when they purchased the property (that's over 20 yrs ago) and that she had no clue about those charges. Also. I sold the owner the window AC and they have not sent me that money nor is it mentioned at all in the letter I received. Even the owner said she's been trying to get a hold of them about the AC but no one has gotten back to her and thats their client....that's terrible! Luckily, the owner IS an honest person and she said she would get it resolved. But. Thats not the point, the point being is that Borba will make erroneous charges so that they DON'T have to give any money back WITHOUT the consent of the property owner! I'm not the person that they want to play these games with and luckily I have access to the owner and a great relationship. But if I have to go the legal route, trust I will and gladly get an attorney. You have been warned
