My family and I rented Bama Breeze beach house in August 2024. The property itself is perfectly located and the pool was excellent.
The house, however, had much to be desired. The linens were old and scratchy and most of them did not fit the bed properly and kept coming off. There was hair on the pillows despite just being cleaned for new guests. The pillows were flat, the beds were uncomfortable, the towels provided were old and gross. I had roaches in my bathroom.
Overall, the stay was fine because we were at the beach. But for the amount of money we paid to rent this beach house, I felt it did not deliver in its expectations.

A rental company that really cares about having repeat visitors. Very helpful to find the perfect available rental for you and when a threat of a hurricane coincided with our vacation we were given a full refund even though many places do not. Have booked with them multiple times.

The WORST beach Experience I’ve EVER had.
Turned to be the BEST! We had a horrible experience with Vacaso Rentals. Got to a house with Black Mold! Called the local Boardwalk Realty…. AND THEY SAVED OUR VACATION! They got us into a BEAUTIFUL home to stay in for the week! Thank you guys so much!!!!

We have had the pleasurable experience of renting from Boardwalk Realty beginning in 1994, and this year marks the 30th consecutive year that we have done so....usually multiple times a year. Always friendly, courteous and helpful. We think of them as family. Dauphin Island has been my favorite place on the planet since I was a young child playing in the sand down at the old "Casino" back in the late 50s. So many wonderful memories made at "The Island". Thanks to the good folks at Boardwalk Realty for their friendship and commitment to service excellence.
