Blue Heron Campground and Resort - Flippin, Arkansas

My son and I were in town for a weekend of cold weather fishing. We typically tent camp but decided to spring for the Campers Cabin to stay warm. Michael was great, and the space was exactly what we needed! We will be back!

Blue Heron is a beautiful and well maintained campground. The sites and concrete pads are level and spacious, each with its own fire ring and adirondack chairs. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and everything is in good repair. The pavilion is a great place for group dinners and there's access to the kitchen from it. The showers, restrooms, and laundry is also in the pavilion building. In the mornings the pavilion is a great place to sit with your coffee and watch the fog dance over the river. The campground location - right on the White River - is perfect with very easy shuttle times to several access points. Michael, the campground host / caretaker, is friendly and very attentive, making it a point to check in often to ensure everything is going well and that you and your group are having a good time. He is a wealth of knowledge on the history of the campground and very interesting to talk to. I needed a special favor for my husband's birthday and Michael and his staff went out of their way to help me out. A most excellent camping experience! We'll be back, for sure.

Great place. Right on the river great view nice level RV spots. Great amenities. Clean quiet. Little bit of road noise. Michael was awesome. He arranged the day of guided fishing. We would come back.

We cannot recommend Blue Heron Campground enough. It is a small resort that is very well maintained. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us schedule a fishing guide at the last minute. Brandon ( our guide) was amazing. Our accommodations were fantastic. We will definitely be back. Thank you again to Cheryl and Michael (and Mia)!!

The absolute best we have experienced! It is small, which we prefer, and immaculate. Michael was very helpful with our last minute late call. He checked with us to make sure we had what we needed. The laundry/shower building is so clean. I know, that should be normal but it isn't, so this is exceptional. We stayed an extra day just because it is so nice. Right along the river, with fire pits & chairs. The grass areas are like a golf course, tables look new, sites are well appointed, level, grass areas and a table as well as a fire pit. Truly, we are so impressed and will now measure all other RV parks/resorts by this one. Photos to come

Wow! Just wow! An exceptional campground ranging from tent camping to big rig pads. Sheryl is fantastic and Mike keeps the grounds manicured. We have stayed in many “luxury” big rig campgrounds but BH beats then all!

Brandon was our singing fishing guide and was great at both! Ask for him if you want to catch a “mess” of trout!

Can’t wait to return!

This was absolutely the nicest campground we have ever stayed. Our site had a curved paved patio with a built-in fire pit. 2 nice chairs were by the fire pit. The picnic table was new. The grounds were beautiful by the river with nice chairs.

This was my third trip to Blue Heron and as always, we had a great time. The cabins are very nice with an exceptional view of the river. Staff are always friendly and accommodating! The on-site boat ramp is very convenient for guests. I highly recommend Blue Heron! Fishing was great! Thank you!
