Unfortunately I will be giving this place a 1 out of 5 because of pricing for the quality of living here.
I lived here for over 3 years and while the new management is better this place is a work in progress of the renovation they are making. When you see the website they don’t even show you the “yellow” apartments which are on Seminole Dr. these apartments are horrendous from the outside. The laundry room (which is so filthy and old and literally looks like a horse stable) you could literally get abducted down there and not a soul would know since this place has no cameras. I got car broken into since there is never parking and we would have to park on the street. I got tickets in winter from where I parked because again once again no parking. The place is a mess everywhere because of all the Venezuelans that moved in recently who have no sense of respect. They have parties so loud every other day past 12. There is no air conditioner so people always have to put the boxes on their windows. You pay anywhere from $1700-$1900 to have the oldest appliances. The only decent thing about the place is how nice the leasing office is. Even after they painted the stairs for their renovation plan the place is just not nice. People park in handicapped spots and in spots with yellow cross lines and they don’t even care. Leasing office manger is super kind. The staff in general is very nice but the actual place is terrible and has a mice problem. If you are desperate to move like how I was this is a good temporary spot.

Frank and Russ are professional, kind and have clear and honest communication. I have submitted a few work orders over that past year, I have lived here, and they are always responded to right away. I greatly appreciate the maintenance team here and how responsive, honest and professional they are. Keep up the great work guys!

I have lived at Blackhawk Apartments going on 3 years now and I have nothing but good things to say! maintenance always get stuff done in a timely manner and are very friendly especially Frank and the men and women that work in the office are always very polite and helpful. GREAT PLACE TO LIVE💜

Blackhawk Apartment Homes has been my home for more than 7 years. Anytime I have had a problem with my unit the maintenance team has been there to help. They take care of their residence. Frank the maintenance team leader has been a great overseer and if there is any problem with maintenance that seems unacceptable, Frank is there to "put out the fire." Management has always been fair and caring about their residence. Barbra, Alex and Lupe, in the office, are a great team and have always been willing to go above and beyond to help meet my needs. I love Blackhawk Apartment Homes 🙂

My partner and I have lived here for many years. There are many things to complain about but the one bright spot has been the maintenance worker, Frank. He is the most conversational and kind person that works here. Without his kindness and hard work, we would have moved out many years ago. When there was mold that the leasing office refused to fix, Frank made sure to help us. When other employees blew off the residents of my building after many of us complained that the front door was not working properly, he stepped in and fixed the problem. Without Frank, this place would be a total pile of shit.

I put a request in for service which was answered by Frank. I found them very personable and knowledgeable. He came to do a repair on my cabinets which was done in a timely manner, he cleaned up and inquired if I was satisfied which I was. I would recommend Frank.
