Leasing department is extremely unprofessional. We had a tour scheduled for the previous Sunday at 12:30pm and was canceled at 9:30am, day of, after confirming the day prior. The tour guide had called out last minute and the leasing office had to reschedule all appointments. Now am understanding, I know things happen, people get sick, have emergencies to attend to.... I get it. We rescheduled our tour for this afternoon 03/23/2025 @ 12:30pm with Elise. We confirmed this appointment yesterday, and got a reminder this morning at 9:30am. We drove from San Francisco, to the complex (took about 30-40min) for our tour. We arrived at 12:25pm, and walked over to the leasing office and there was a closed sight with an expected back at 12:30pm. I stood there waiting until 1:08pm with absolute no communication for our tour guide. 2 maintenence men came to the office, the first one stated she should be back in a couple minutes (at 12:38pm). At about 12:44pm another maintence man came and I asked him if he could contact the tour guide as we're had a tour at 12:30 and have been waiting and have not heard from her. He contacted her and said, she told him she in on her way (with no eta). He said he thinks she may have went to lunch. If that is the case, it would have been nice if there was some sort of communication on her end. Agin we continued to wait, I had another tour in Oakland at 2:30pm and had called to see if they could push back our tour as our tour guide is late. They stated they could not as they're afternoon is fully booked but it is okay if we are running a little late. We waited until about 1:08pm and had left as we needed to use the restroom and couldn't continue to wait any longer. It is now 2:48pm and never got a call back to apologize for missing the scheduled tour. No one reached out via email as well. While I understand things happen, that's life. It is not okay to be unprofessional and waste people's time and gas. I am also incredibly late for my next tour which is very disrespectful for these other people's time. I don't know how yall continue to lease apartments and keep your current rentors satisfied if yall can't even show up to your own confirmed appointments on time. Definitely will not be renting here and I strongly suggest when you book a tour, make sure you have no plans for the day as they may run behind 40min+ for your tour. Or may never show up at all.

I've lived in the same apartment (#1104) for 25 years now and have seen this whole complex sold to new owners about at least 3 times so far.
Although you guys are the best of the bunch (I REALLY do mean that) I had to give you only 4 stars because sometimes the communications between the Resident's Services Department and Maintenance Crew could be better, and they NEVER call before they arrive to give me a head's-up they're on their way.

Absolutely Terrible Experience – Worst Place to Live

I honestly don't even know where to begin with how awful living here has been. From day one, this place has been nothing but a nightmare. The maintenance team is absolutely useless. Every time I put in a request, it takes weeks to get any sort of response, and even when they finally show up, the issue is barely addressed or completely ignored. I've had broken appliances for months, and I’m constantly left dealing with things that should’ve been fixed long ago.

The management is no better. They’re unprofessional and unresponsive, and it’s clear they don’t care about the residents. Communication is nonexistent, and when you do finally get a response, it’s always a runaround. If you’re lucky enough to get a maintenance worker to come by, they either do a half-job or make the problem worse.

This place is falling apart, and it’s obvious they don’t put any effort into maintaining it. The building is old and rundown, and it seems like they only care about getting their rent money every month. I’ve lived in a lot of places, but this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE! Please don’t even CONSIDER living here. The office never answer calls, I didn’t have a working washer and dryer for 2 months, I didn’t have a working shower for 3 days. The maintenance flooded my apartment and made me clean it. Your car WILL get broken into or stolen. They don’t take responsibility for anything. Security doesn’t do their job and as a girl living here I am terrified every single day!

Yaquelin is a very professional manager. She treats everyone fairly and do her best to help her tenants. All of the employees in the office are a great team. I thank them for their help.

I have to say that this is the most bizarre rental agency. I have simple question pertaining to their application process, and after numerous emails, phone calls (direct to voice mail), etc. not a single person has attempted to aid me. I cannot imagine how irresponsive they are after one moves in.
Update: Still no response. Do yourself a favor and not waste your money and time on this company. They are not willing to answer a single phone call to help with application process. I am sure they will be even more irresponsible once you move in

This condominium is simply one of the worst places to live! There are frequent incidents of stolen cars or broken windows, apartments being invaded and burglarized, and even murders. On top of all this, when a resident, who pays their rent on time and fulfills their obligations, needs assistance, Bella Vista and its staff are consistently negligent, rude, inefficient, and incapable of resolving issues. The employee Yaquelin, who is supposedly the manager, fails to address any concerns and treats residents as if she is doing them a favor. TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE, STAY AWAY FROM HERE.

I have had an amazing experience living at Bella Vista Hilltop, and a big part of that is thanks to our incredible apartment manager Yaquelin Reyes From the moment I moved in, they have been professional, responsive, and genuinely caring about the residents.

Anytime I have had a question or maintenance request, Yaquelin has handled it promptly and efficiently. They go above and beyond to ensure the building is well-maintained and that residents feel comfortable and valued. Their friendly attitude and dedication to excellent service truly make a difference.

It’s rare to find a manager who is both approachable and proactive, but Yaquelin is exactly that. I highly recommend Bella Vista Hilltop to anyone looking for a great place to live with outstanding management!
