Best Vacation Rental Ever
This is the best ever place to be to rest, relax, have fun, and be so close to the great beach and ocean water. The accommodations are excellent and very clean. Perfect sleeping areas for very large groups and the kitchen is very large and stocked with everything you need to cook with. Dining table to fit over 20 people. There is an outside shower and a large fun area for barbecuing, playing table games, and evening outside gatherings. Don't miss the hot tub on the roof! Downtown is an easy walk away. We had the best time at Mary Ann and Tom's home for our family vacation. Both owners were super responsive to any questions or concerns both before and during our stay. Their home was well equipped with the necessities for a beach vacation. The kitchen had updated appliances and was stocked full of anything we could possibly need to cook and prepare meals for our large family. We loved that the table could actually fit all of us, both inside and outside! The house also stayed exceptionally cool with the a/c during a very hot week, and the bedroom accommodations were comfortable and perfect for our family! The house is also in a perfect location for easy access to the beach as well as to popular local destinations. Mary Ann also sent several recommendations for things to do nearby, and we loved all the information left in the house for us with activities and tips to help us during our stay. Overall an excellent vacation and experience with renting from Mary Ann and Tom, highly recommend for your family vacations!

My stay at this house was wonderful. There was plenty of room for all the members of the family that came for our reunion of about 20 people. We love the giant size table on the main floor for family meals and games. The short walk to the beach is a blessing for the older members of our group. I am 75.
The owners have a binder filled with suggestions of different activities that can be done on the island, including ones for rainy days with kids. We had a great week.

Mary Ann & Tom were incredibly accommodating and their home was the perfect location for us all to celebrate a birthday! There was 15 of us and it slept us all comfortably. The house was just a few steps away from the beach & the rooftop hot tub & seating area had wonderful ocean views. Even though we visited off season it was still a close drive to all the bars & even if you wanted to stay put at home, there was plenty of space & parking to hang at the house in large loud group. We are looking forward to making this an annual tradition!

This house was great for our family of 24. We are a near even mix of adults and kids and there was room and space for all of us. The huge kitchen table was great. I can't remember the last time we all sat down for a meal together. The outdoor space was relaxing. The addition of a new blackstone griddle in the back made cooking up big breakfasts fast and easy. The proximity to the beach made trips back and forth to from the house to take a toddler to the bathroom, fix lunch, or run back to grab something quick made for a stress free week. The hosts were incredibly accommodating even though we hardly ever saw them. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This house is great! Our family of 12 adults and 6 kids fit very comfortably! Being just steps from the beach was amazing and the views from the rooftop deck were great! The living room held many of us and the long dining table was great for ordering or cooking in and being connected to the living room (it allowed us all to congregate together). The upstairs living room gave us an extra space to house the early riser kiddies! We were skeptical of renting a home with owners living on the premises, but they were great! We didn’t even know they were there unless we had a question, to which they were very responsive.

Our family of 15, plus assorted family and friends who wove in and out of our week on Long Beach Island, loved our stay on LBI as we found the perfect spot. Clean and comfortable space for both togetherness and privacy. The kitchen was jam packed with cookware and serving ware, and even the basics of any kitchen pantry which made it a breeze to feed the crowds. Although the indoor table would have easily fit us all, we always found ourselves outside - cooking and eating at the table and conversation areas…all shaded by umbrellas as needed. Boogie boards, beach chairs and beach toys were in plentiful supply. Loved the spacious outdoor shower to rinse off after a day on the gorgeous beach of 85th street.
Our hosts were wonderful- just top notch. Always responded to any questions or concerns immediately. They struck the perfect balance of being friendly and available, without hovering. From the beginning of our inquiry, they truly had our best interest at heart, and gave many helpful suggestions about activities beyond the sand and surf. Their friendliness was much appreciated.
The rooftop deck was the icing on the cake, especially since we were there over the 4th of July. None of our group had ever seen fireworks so close up - just breathtaking and fun. And some of us saw them while in the hot tub…and none of us had to face a traffic jam when they were finished. Even without fireworks, it was a marvelous place to take in the sunset. For the sunrise, the bench at the head of the path to the beach was perfect.
This property is in a terrific location. Third house from the beach made the to and fro easy. Both a seafood and pizza restaurant nearby for takeout. A grocery store only a few blocks away. All that we needed was quite convenient!

I spent a week at this rental for a week in June with 11 family members, with an additional 4-6 for meals. It easily accommodated us. The extra-large table allowed us all to sit together for meals which was a bonus! The kitchen was very well equipped and the oven easily handled cooking for a large crowd.
The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. The place was very clean and nicely decorated in beach decor. I especially liked the photos of sunrises and sunsets taken by the owner. I especially liked how close it is to beach, making it easier to take kids back to use the bathroom. The owners were friendly and had suggestions for things to do and where to go. They even had a large binder with information about the island and what to do. I highly recommend this house if you have a large group. We look forward to returning next year.
