Do not choose this apartment, it will charge you a lot when you move out if you ever use the oven. They will charge you an amount more than enough to buy a new one. They refuse to give an explanation of the expense, and you have no choice but let them do that with your security deposit! !! I highly doubt if it’s legal but most of us are busy at work or at school, have to time to sue them. Definitely be careful with this building, it’s not worth it!

From a week ago, every time I ordered delivery or off duty or moving with 4 large cases and 2 large suitcases NONE OF THE ELEVATOR WAS WORKING. And the heat water system also broke down for a whole day so I had a cold shower when it’s only -5degrees outside. For the god sakes I lived in 17 floors, I climbed 68 floors in two days just to GO BACK TO MY DAMN APARTMENT. When you try to call the management office for reporting the issues, they’re always not there to pick up your calls. I paid tons of money for the renting, and I don’t think it worths a dime.

While the staff here are friendly and the building itself is clean, the nonstop construction has made living here extremely difficult. First, it was the construction of another building, then construction of restaurants downstairs, and now it’s noise from a nearby parking lot project. You would hear construction noise starting from 7am. And I’ve been woken up multiple times at 5-6 a.m. by heavy vehicles entering the construction site, and there’s even noise around midnight. It’s nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. If peace and quiet matter to you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

If you're considering this place and you happen to work from home, I'd seriously advise rethinking. Construction seems to be a never-ending saga here. Living street-side? Prepare for constant noise from the construction site. If you opt for the park-side, it's the restaurant construction downstairs that keeps the decibels up.

The folks running the show here can't give a solid timeline for when the racket will end. And remember, the restaurant is just the first in a potentially long line-up. With more vacant spaces around, the construction could start up all over again.

Then there's the rent - it's been skyrocketing, with no special consideration for those renewing. I've been here for 2 years, and my rent's already jumped up 20% compared to last year. You'd think there would be some loyalty appreciation, but it's pretty clear: pay more or move. When you do decide to leave, they'll nitpick at every minor issue to deduct from your deposit, then just move on to the next tenant for the inflated lease.

Don't even get me started on package losses. Despite having a Luxer One locker downstairs, packages seem to magically disappear. The doormen can't explain it. I was told once that Amazon is solely responsible for the locker, yet I've seen a doorman handling packages. It's all pretty disorganized. I've lost four packages in six months, but thank heavens for Amazon's reshipment policy.

In a nutshell, think twice about moving here. It's more hassle than it's worth.

The construction start from 8am and end at 4pm. They make it impossible to work from home, because no one wants to hear construction clanging during a meeting. They claim to have a high speed internet, but it often disconnects. The walls also fell off.

I have attempted to get in contact with the buildings leasing department for two days and have gotten no response. We called, we emailed and told them we were looking to sign a lease for the building but needed some more information before we could do that. So far no response. This will 100% impact our decision to sign a lease here.

Management is impossible to reach, electricity was on/off for over a month. Elevators occasionally don’t work. Will be looking to leave as soon as possible.

I love living here! The staff at The Beach are very nice and helpful. Every time I put up a service report, Chino responds within the hour. Sonia is a true gem and keeps the lobby and all areas super clean. Sharon, Jonathan, Roger and Gary are super nice people and do their job way beyond their duties. Its great!
