My interactions with Angie Baker were always very positive, and I had been prepared to write a glowing review. The apartment was clean and nice, and the agency had been very helpful and easy to work with. However, two stars have been lost simply due to my deposit. They deducted $90 from my deposit for cleaning the carpets. Those carpets were brand new when I moved in, and pristine when I left. There was not a spot on them, and they were routinely vacuumed. In other words, they made me pay for the standard cleaning they would have done upon move-out no matter what.
