This rental property is beyond unprofessional. I've paid rent on time for almost 2 years until I had to move out because the maintenance people put my family at risk with no window for 2 days. Leaving my "home" open to intruders and other hazardous things. Maintenance not only failed to fix the window but many other things through out my 2 years of living there. I did the walk through with the manager, Pam and she said everything looked good. I asked about my deposit and she stated she doesn't handle that. It has been more than 21 days and they fail to return my deposit. They proceed to ignore my phone calls and give me the run around. Your better off taking them to small Claims Court to hold them accountable. Keep all your pictures and text messages between you and the manager, they will come in handy when you decide to move out.

Okay so I am a tenant at one of the properties owned and ir managed by
B & B Properties and I have to say I am surprised by the reviews I've read.
First off, the office manager has been nothing but helpful, went above and beyond for me (a stranger at the time) and got me into a place quickly when I really needed it. Stayed after hours for me, and actually cared. I was and still am so grateful! It's a fact that some parts of Long Beach are prone to more insects just as some parts skunks etc. I was given and told I could call the pest control once a month if ever needed without contacting the office and if anything persisted they would take further action.
The owner of my building is also a very understanding kind man. I'm pretty critical and have dealt with my share of management companies, I'd say Pam at B&B is the best I've dealt with and went out my way to befriend her because she's simply a good person. You don't find that very often!! Boo to those other post! Lol

Be careful of this “property company”. The most unprofessional two people I’ve ever met (pointing the finger at you Pam.) my roomate and I were recommended this place by our friends who lived there previously so we were expecting to have a pleasant experience like they did. That was anything BUT the case. We turned in our applications and handed over $90 for the application fees. I was told we would hear back but- of course we never did. We reached out numerous times every day for two weeks in hopes of an answer. When Pam answered once, we were met with hostility. If you can live ANYWHERE else I would highly suggest looking at different team who will actually DO their jobs in processing applications. According to my boss and defended they never even called them. They straight up scammed us out of our money. Hope you use that 90$ to wax that stach Pam. (We are fine tenants with a clear record with nothing that would cause us to be completely ghosted. We applied to a new place and were accepted within 2 days.)

Moved into the 9th Street Apartments over a year ago, roaches in the apartment from day 1. Maintenance doesn't come for days to repair things and they have had 2 different property managers since I've been there. I finally move out and as of today it's been 1 month and I have not gotten my extremely high but required deposit. I paid a $2000 deposit to move in here (rent is 1200) and now they claimed it was mailed certified; but something has happened with the USPS and now Ralfie the main person will not have the owner stop payment and re-submit my deposit. Not only did I not mail it to them, I feel like I should be able to pick it up from them. I need my money, my hands are tied and I'm meeting with a lawyer to help me file a claim against B & B Property Management. Hopefully I'm awarded 2 or 3 times the amount I paid. Sleep in your car, a friend's couch anywhere, but don't rent from B & B Property. Only reason they got 2 stars is that the lady at the office "Pam" is super nice and sweet. I really liked her.

Management doesn't care about it's tenants. Constantly raising rent but not properly fixing things. Building needs shutting down. Will tell lies on you and NOT return your deposit!!! They got mad at me because they were reported to the BBB & forced to respond. I was given a notice to leave...and due to me being month to month I had to vacate. Its ok though because I was looking to move due to everything they refused to give attention to like roaches( the whole building has a roach problem)...raggedy painted fixtures, horrible plumbing, termites, and the delay and inattentiveness to your requests!!! I begged for help because my child was small at the time. NOPE!! They pretend to care but don't. Listen....don't waste your time here, or your money. Found out(not to my surprise) that they've been doing other tenants like this....past & present. I'm good now because I was blessed with a luxury place where not even an ant crawls...and management who cares!!! I think it's due to what I went through with B&B. Moral of the story: If you see them, Keep looking. I've kept in touch with some tenants after leaving...and they're STILL being mistreated! It's unfortunate because people can't just get up & move! Be careful out there guys.

Well if your taking your rent you'll have no problem giving to them but aside of taking care of property issue, we'll it's a hit a miss with them. I got a few issues that they haven't fix in years but when its come to your rent money, no problem they are there

Building at 1700 e hill St. signal hill has an old women who comes and cleans she trows away my plants I habe the dig them out weekly. I asked her to stop... and has been harrased me.. She said I was trash b. C of my tattoos.
