I’ve been a resident at Avalon for a few years now, and Lewis and Joshua have been highlights of my experience here through their diligence as maintenance staff. Every problem I’ve ever encountered they’ve been able to fix swiftly. I appreciate how accommodating and helpful the staff are and definitely recommend!

Joshua came to our apartment because a neighbor advices that one of our pipes was leaking. Said and done. Highly efficient, gentle and nice. He fixed everything in less than an hour. Happy to have this highly committed personal in our maintenance staff, although it was mid-afternoon Sunday

We just moved into Avalon yesterday and our movers had truck issues and we’re not able to show up. Thankfully, the maintenance crew, Lewis and Chris were able to save the day and get our couch in apartment! These guys were fantastic and so helpful! Also, the admin team Melissa and Cameron have always been welcoming and very supportive during our transition to Princeton. We look forward to our stay here.

This is the worst house I have ever seen. The staff in this office is a tall man. The service is terrible. It is terrible. Don't fall into the trap. If you rent this house, you will really have no way to deal with them if the office service is very bad. Don't rent this building. I went to see the house. After arriving, he told me that he had a meeting for half an hour and asked me to wait. As a result, I didn't know what he was doing with the door closed? I waited for an hour and a half before he came out. After he came out, he actually asked me what was wrong. He seemed to have just woken up and didn't remember that I came to see the house. I said I just told you that I made an appointment to see the house. He exclaimed and said that he remembered that you came to see the house. He didn't remember that I was waiting for him to see the house. After an hour and a half, he seemed to have completely lost his memory. He just fiddled with his computer for a long time and asked me if I had my ID with me. New Jersey stipulates that you must bring your ID to see the house. I said I brought my student ID, and he said no, I need to bring my ID to see the house. He didn't tell me that I couldn't see the house with my student ID. I took a 2-hour drive from Manhattan. I asked him, "You didn't tell me to bring my ID card with you?" He was very rude and impatient. Later, I was very glad that I didn't look at this building, let alone rent it. If I moved in and faced such an irresponsible office every day, I would really want to cry. I looked around the building and didn't like it very much. Please be careful.

Great location however rents are high with consistent yearly high rent increases, increases for additional services including WiFi fees, community fees, pet, storage and parking fees. New Latch fees are underway. Every year the community holds it breath waiting for the next increase in rents & services, while Avalon continues to build new locations in Princeton. Avalon is at top of the list in the country for excessive rental increases and hikes in fees. However Maintenance Team is excellent and Melissa in the office is very helpful

Renting at Avalon Princeton since 2020 and just too comfortable and happy to move out 🙂 Great team at the leasing office and the maintenance department, its so good to see continuous improvement with the new carpets across the entire property and the progression to digital locks. Excited to see what's next!
