Our journey with Atherton Homes, Solera has been nothing but great! From day one, Amelia, Justin, and Hanna have been great! We bought our home without even seeing a model, just the floor plan, we were lucky and got a great lot as well! From the moment we started the process to picking our options, the staff has been a pleasure to deal with. Always professional and always there to address our questions, and there were a lot given that we were buying a home, BLIND!
Once we got to see a model, we were very impressed with the workmanship, it is the best you can get here in Manteca, and we looked at a lot of new home builders before we decided to go with Atherton. Worked with Amelia to choose all of our options to make our home into our dream home! Of course it does cost to go with upgrades, as nothing is free and one shouldn't expect the options to be either. Made change after change after change, and Amelia was always on top of it, and was always happy to accommodate all of my requests. Thanks Amelia for helping us make our home perfect!
We have been in our home for over a year now and we have had a few instances where we needed to call the sales office, had an issue with our tub, I e-mailed Charrisa, and she was on it! She had Dave out to look at it and they made the necessary repairs. We have had some settling cracks as well, but nothing that would warrant us to contact them for repairs, as settling is to be expected and the cracks are hairline cracks, the normal stuff.
Overall, our experience has been great, the staff is always professional and always ready to accommodate any requests we made. Keep up the great work guys!!!!

Still...love love my home. I can not find another home like an Atherton. Settling is normal. Happens on new and old houses. We dealt with it. Atherton did repair kitchen tile work and entry. Very happy even after 1 year in our house. The staff has all been awesome and a pleasure to work with them. Will definitely recommend Atherton Homes!!!

We have been very happy with Atherton Homes. Justin, Hannah, Emilia, Ed andCarissa have all been a pleasure to work with. Always, was on top of their work! Wrong tile was installed in our master bath. And Emilia, owned to the mistake and had it taken out. The correct tile was installed. That to us was professionalism at it's best! All you need to do is to ask nicely! And they take care of the problem. Sure, there were problems with the bathroom installers etc...But the contractor's were called as soon as we brought it to Carissa's attention. It got fixed! I love the quality and workmanship of Atherton Homes. We are now enjoying living in a very nice and well built home 1 story and 10,000 sq. ft lot..Love love love it!!!

I waited almost a year to write this review after reading some of the others. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Super competitive to even get a lot- welcome to CA! Hannah and Justin were amazing to work with, explained the process & made it so easy. Amelia by far handled our questions and random requests with ease, often being the referee for my husband & I to agree on design choices. A couple items came up during our walk-through & Dave/Charissa had them addressed within days. Our home is 100% plank tile flooring and not one issue (or regret)! We did tour the other homebuilders in the area and kept going back to the quality of walking into an Atherton Home.

Before you decide to buy an atherton
home make sure to check the quality of unfinished projects. They will sell you a home before completing your cabinets, interior painting, counter tops, tile setting, cracked foundations / stucco, door hardware these items will most likely be ignored with rude customer service.

Beautiful well laid out floorplans with something for everyone! Our fave has an option for a casitas which is a separate but attached living quarter- that includes its own livingroom, bedroom, walk in closet and bath. And the lots for most of the homes are pretty spacious compared to other homes we considered. However, be prepared to battle because in this market there are hundreds competing for these homes and even if pre approved you will have to compete to secure a lot appointment from the 5 or 6 released via email, on a specific day and time 1st come, 1st serve. In addition, each time lots are released the price of the homes increase. By the time you secure a lot appt, you may no longer be approved at the amount the house now cost. That's the reason for the 4 star rating-the stressful competing, because the homes are beautiful. Good luck.

So far not so great.we have a lanai wall we didn't want. Sales staff failed to do their part in relaying our wants. We signed all the documentation we had to on time. Wall was put up anyway. We were told the wall is staying take it or leave it we'll give your deposits back. Love our location so we have a wall. Had some issues during frame inspection, we were told to speak to sales staff in office, Amelia was very rude during conversation. I explained her rudeness to Hannah and she concured with us and apologized for her. On Sunday we did a home tour and noticed some discrepancies and took pictures. Showed Hannah the pictures, she assured us she would take care of it,called Tuesday and spoke with Hannah to see if it was taken care of. She couldn't tell me if it was done or not ,but what she could tell me was that the inspection had passed and sheet rock had been installed and would not be coming regardless what was done or not.Unacceptable. I went to city hall spoke with inspector and showed him pictures of the discrepancies. Gave him my number,he called me back within 20 minutes and said it would all be taken care of tomorrow.VERY PROFESSIONAL .called Atherton ,Justin answered and he had the nerve to say he didn't appreciate me going to city hall and complaining. I let him know I didn't appreciate the fact that I had to. He was very rude and unprofessional. What happened to the customer who is spending over a half a million dollars is always right.At the end no apology from him.About a half hour later I called Atherton again about an email, Justin answered,when I introduced myself Justin chuckled on the phone.VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.can't wait for this to be over.
