These are low income public housing units specifically for artists in the Truckee area. Have to apply through Regional Housing Authority if you wish to live there. They are currently full. It is my dream come true so far. I couldnt ask for a more beautiful place for my children and I to live. Views r spectacular. So excited to see what our future holds. 🙌🏻💕

I'm just in the applying stages but I wanted to post a review anyways. The "front office" staff is the absolute best and filled with kindest people. They're super quick with responses and have answered all of my questions, which I have had a lot of them. They're upfront and honest and very careful with verbiage.
I hope I get to call this place home in the not so distant future.

I absolutely love living here and I'm so grateful for the affordable option in this expensive mountain town. My unit makes me feel bougee with its updated appliances and beautiful mountain view. The staff is so kind. For the most part there is a great community here.

This is an amazing community of diverse and eclectic people of all ages, economic status, many Truckee locals, and many are not…living under two roofs, in two towers, who are artist and creators…across all genres—unique, lovely, different, challenged to live expressively — not always fitting in but emerging as a group of caring humans. Also some don’t want to be here— like every family or tribe in community. Wouldn’t it be boring if we were all “Perfect”? Are you? before you judge this emerging and potentially incredible place to learn and live. “Truckee Love” ❤️❤️‍🩹a motto to aspire to. Ps. Some people were “put” here and didn’t choose to live here. Absolutely worst experience I've ever had looking for a place for my family. Zero communication from staff to management. This place is a joke, filled with people who have no idea what is going on. I've been continuously lied to, mistreated, and brushed off because me and my family weren't what they were looking for "in renters" they assumed we couldn't afford it. They assumed I wouldn't call and come in for updates, they assumed I didn't know how the process works. They assumed based on their lack of knowledge and their unwilling apathetic attitude to even look for our application. Three months of getting the run around their final excuse was they are full. After being told over and over that they have units available and we have a place.
