I had a great experience with American Property Management. Our leasing agent, Ed, made the application process very smooth and efficient. He was also very flexible as he was willing to work around our busy work schedules. He made the process easy for us and in the end we got a beautiful apartment in Sawtelle. Ed was extremely helpful and understanding! We had mold problems in our old apartment, so we needed to be able to move out in 2-3 days. Ed showed us multiple properties the first day and then the next day we had completed our application and signed a lease. He was very friendly and made the process as smooth as it could possibly be. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately my apartment walk through before signing the lease was very unpleasant. Ed made it very unpleasant and unprofessional, he was annoyed I was asking questions and pointed out a few (minor) details the apartment need to get fixed before moving in. He was very defensive everytime i asked a question. ( I am new at this process since ive lived at my same place the last 12 years! So i had questions) the leasing office he continued to get annoyed when I asked any questions. His tone was very condescending. He even said if you are not ready to sign don't (just because I had basic questions). Unfortunately I didn't have the option of walking away since I had given my deposit a few weeks ago and didn't want to lose that money. Overall I feel sad that instead of having a great experience and being excited to move into a new place Ed made it very uncomfortable and stressful.

Application process went super smooth, Ed likes to meet you in person for the application process which I liked, he got back in less than a day and everything was smooth and easy.
