This was my first home buying experience and Amar and his team made it a pretty great one. The best thing I liked was working with the whole team and not just with one person. Amar was the initiator as he explained to me how this whole process works and what his strategy is. But, then his Wife “Sri” took the charge on answering all my queries and suggesting which open houses are worth going for. Once I had liked the place, they left no stone unturned to win the offer.

There is a lot to say about Amar and Sri, but let me start with this: This was our second house purchase, and we have worked with several realtors, but have never met anyone who can even remotely compare to what Amar and Sri bring to the table.

I am here to highlight a few key aspects of our home-buying journey with Amar and Sri.

Sri, with her several decades of experience and in-depth knowledge of the Bay Area market and neighborhoods, provides a holistic view of any property.

She is very transparent in highlighting the negatives/lowlights of any property that a buyer must know. She gives honest feedback if a property is unsuitable, even if it meets your requirements.

Amar did the due diligence, thoroughly reviewed the home inspection reports, and conducted an hours-long deep dive into key aspects of the inspection report with home buyers.

They spent close to four hours reviewing the inspection reports with us and patiently answered all our questions.

Offer preparation: This is where Amar takes his own sweet time, which is the most important part of the process. Most Bay Area realtors lack this. Amar's strategy for offer preparation is unique. Working with Amar, I realized the offer is not just about $ - he studies the case very closely, spends numerous hours understanding the seller and agent's mindset, and highlights other aspects of the offer extremely well.

Negotiation: The Bay Area market is highly competitive, and regarding the offer price, 'more is less.' Amar's biggest strengths are his negotiation skills and the strategy he implements to win offers even with lower price offers compared to other bids.

Sri's constant communication and updates throughout the process are extremely important for keeping things calm and settling any anxiety that might occur.

Amar has a fantastic team to follow up on closure activities like loans, insurance, and warranties. I shopped the rates at 4 different banks. Still, no one could beat the loan offer, which is the homeowner's insurance offer/coverage provided by Amar's contacts.

The lender recommended by Amar was able to close my loan in 12 days.
