Great alternative approach to selling a home, however be very aware of the fees and ask questions first! I called and wanted more Information on how their approach worked as we were shopping for a realtor to sell our home. I received a return phone call and scheduled them to come to the house like other realtors and discuss selling. A representative came out and he was very friendly and charismatic. We walked around the outside of the home, however because of tenants we did not walk the inside. We discussed their approach to sell the home, fee structures and their estimated valuation. His estimate of the home was very low compared to others and my market research however Like other realtors he said he would do some research and get back with us. We finished up and he said that the fee for the consultation would be $125. What? That fee was never stated up front and their valuation of the home was almost 10% lower than all other realtors we considered. We are now under contract and I compared their fee schedule with the negotiated commission and with all that my realtor is doing for us, it would have ran us around $12K before negotiating the buyers realtors commission, which will be around 2.5% in this area. That is a whole 1500 less than what I actually paid my realtor and we would have lost a bunch of money selling at their price about $60k. Very nice people at this business, however ask about fees up front and do your homework. Just felt scammed out of $125.
