I’ve lived in this community for some time, but what happened recently was deeply concerning and disappointing.
In early April, the ceiling in my apartment showed visible signs of damage. I submitted a maintenance request, and the maintenance team came to inspect it. They told us there was no safety issue and scheduled repairs for the following week. That same afternoon, the crack grew significantly worse. I urgently contacted the office, and only then did the team acknowledge a serious safety concern and recommend that my family stay in a hotel.
Unfortunately, by then it was already late in the day, and with a 5-month-old baby and elderly family members, it wasn’t possible for us to leave on such short notice. We were told the bedroom was safe, so we stayed overnight—only to have the ceiling in the kitchen, dining, and living room collapse the next morning while we were still in the apartment.
Thankfully, no one was physically injured, but it was a terrifying experience. While the team did repair the ceiling quickly, I believe the initial misjudgment of the hazard put my family at unnecessary risk. Despite reaching out multiple times and requesting a reasonable rent concession for what happened, management refused to offer any form of compensation.
If you are considering living here, please be aware that maintenance assessments may not be reliable, and in an emergency, you may be on your own.

As a long time tenant at Addison, the staff has always been helpful and pleasant to work with. In the office, Joy and Sarah have consistently worked to accommodate any needs as they arise.

I'd also like to highlight the work (and work ethic) of Philip in maintenance. I recently had a long and complicated maintenance issue - he went above and beyond to make sure to find a solution, while always having a calm and positive attitude (when we were both stressed about the situation).

We had a wonderful time in Addison. We'll surely stay a little longer if we don't plan on leaving the country. We had no trouble getting information from the personnel in the office. They're fantastic! We haven't had any issues with the apartment itself, but when we want maintenance, they are always quicker than we anticipated. The location is also ideal for children; we can safely state that it is a child-friendly neighborhood. Every day, we see children outside, which makes me and my wife happy because our daughter rarely interacts with our friends' children since the beginning of the pandemic, but she does so here with our neighbors' children. Thank you, Joy Arias, for all of your assistance from the beginning. Each and every question has been addressed. She communicates well with the residents. I can assure you that she will be available to assist and answer any of your questions whether you contact her via email, phone, or in person. You did a fantastic job, Joy! Very grateful for having called this our HOME.

10/10 Absolutely best community that I’ve ever lived in (I’ve lived in 3 different countries and 6 different states). Addison at Princeton Meadows took my breath away from the moment that I took my first tour to the moment that I had to terminate my lease. The wonderful team that they have at their leasing office has never disappointed and ALWAYS kept you in the loop with things going on in the neighborhood. I’m active duty military and it’s hard finding a place that’ll truly feel like home but this place did just that. Everything inside the apartment was updated with new appliances, the areas that were more public were always clean, and the people were very welcoming. Thank you Kelly and Joy for being so nice and helpful always, you both will be missed truly.

As stated in my previous post about this complex we could not be happier! This is our first apartment together and the leasing process was streamlined, professional and easy. We have been so happy here. It's been about two months, and we have no notes!

These apartments are a joke. I have only lived here for one year and I was ready to move out by the second month. The first day the washer and dryer did not work. The second month the kitchen sink fell out. The third month the fence used for construction for the gym fell and dented my car. By the 6th month the water was leaking out of the wall in the bathroom. They do temporary fixes and leave card board boxes on the walls, maintenance men say they’ll come back but never do. The only way they’ll come back out is if you angrily call the office. It’s a shame you have to get out of character for this place to take you seriously. You’re paying for a gym and a pool fee every month but was never able to use it. They made us pay for valet trash when the dumpster is 5 ft away from the building. There are no parking spaces, people try to act as though their spots are their spots. There are constant power outages. When your lease ends they still want you to pay for the days you are moving plus a vacant fee for electricity… Never in my life have I paid a vacant fee for electricity. This place is very money hungry. They made us pay for their mess ups twice. Not to mention the size of the apartment is the size of a studio and they want you to pay over 2k. Each month you’ll see at-least 5 move residents moving out. Been here for a year and we seen 4 apartments become un occupied from just one side! That’s not including the many around the entire complex. It’s almost a game you can bet on. “Let’s see how many move out this month” You are literally only paying to be in the area not for the luxury. Worse place I ever stayed. Everything is just broken, to the point you don’t even want to call maintenance to help because you’ll know it never get fixed. There is a reason they have over 10 properties available. Don't be fooled.

I have been living here for going on 9 years now and I totally love this place. The staff is awesome. Joy, the Property Manager is always willing to listen to what you have to say and solve the problem always. Sara who got a promotion is now the assistant to Joy and now the new staff is always willing to help you and never let you leave the office unhappy because your problem was not solved. They will always try to give you an answer and greet you with a smile when entering the office. I am very pleased with the Staff in the Office who make you feel wanted and part of this always growing community. I am also please with the improvements going on. If you have any problems maintenance wise in your apartment the Maintenance's Staff will always immediately come out and fix the problem.
I am extremely please with them. They are very professional, very trained at what they do. Awesome Maintenance Department.
In closing my lease will be up the end of the year and I will be signing up for another year. For new families who want to move in this awesome community that is always updating the property to make it better for the residents. Please don't hesitate and make this community your home, you want be sorry.
I have now resigned my lease for another year, as I walk around the complex and see the changes that have been made I am over whelm and so very happy that I chose to make this my home again.

So far it is bad. I really want to give a good review but can't. We moved into the apartment, paying over $3k in various fees and completing all required paperwork promptly and correctly. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, the apartment was not ready upon move-in and remains non-functional one month later.

Hardware Issues:
1.The bathroom sink, a pop-up style, is stuck, water can not drain.
2.The front door lacks a strike plate, causing the lock to enter the weak wooden door frame.
3.The patio is missing a screen door.
4.The bathroom had no tissue holders (this was fixed after two weeks).
Despite submitting two maintenance tickets and calling the leasing office multiple times, none of these issues, except for the tissue holders, have been fixed after a month.

Unreasonable Concerns:
1. Valet Trash: This service costs $25/month and comes with like 10 strict rules. And they will take out 5 small bags of well-prepared trash out. It’s inconvenient since they don’t pick up trash on Fridays or Saturdays, meaning tenants often have to take out most of the trash themselves.
2.Smart Lock System: It’s okay to use, but adding unnecessary complications and fees when a simple key would work better.
3.Water and Sewer Fees: These charges seem excessively high. ~100$/month

On a positive note, the leasing office staff is polite and easy to communicate with, but unfortunately, the ongoing problems have not been resolved. Because of these issues, I cannot recommend renting here. If things don’t improve, I will consider moving out, especially since neighbors apt complex report getting maintenance support within 2-3 days, while I am still waiting after a month for basic fixes.
Update Dec2024, fridge broken, can’t fix, got an older fridge. Roof leaking at midnight.
