The worst customer service Iāve ever experienced! Consider this a ZERO star rating!
I was given a tour by a very nice ladyāit was her first day on the job. Unfortunately, it was obvious that management does nothing to set new employees up for success because she knew almost nothing about the complex. She showed me two model units but seemed confused about their locations. She couldnāt answer any of my questions and kept repeating that it was her first day.
I stopped asking, assuming that a more senior staff member would be available back at the leasing office to provide the information I needed. I was wrong. When I asked if I could speak to someone more knowledgeable, she went to the back office. After a long wait, she returned with a few answers but still no additional help. I then asked, āAre they really not going to come out and assist you on your first day?ā At that moment, a man in the office overheard me, came out heated, and yelled, "I am trying to find you a one-bedroom!ā.
Instead of ignoring a potential renter, how about stepping up, offering support, and providing the customer service that should be expected?
The negative reviews about this place are absolutely valid.
To the kind lady on her first dayāI highly recommend finding a job where they actually invest in your success. To anyone looking for a place to live, AVOID THIS COMPLEX if professionalism and customer service matter to you!

Itās been frustrating. Getting ready to sign the lease, it took more than 2 weeks to have my questions answered via email. I wasnāt given the updated lease I signed until the night before I moved in.
The day of move in I completed my move in checklist. I told them there were many issues. One issue included our window screen falling off our window (while the Santa Ana winds were raging). The leasing office told us āmaintenance is doing more urgent thingsā. Apparently, a window screen dangling from the 3rd story isnāt very serious to them. Especially above the pool and next to the street to enter the parking structure.
We found more issues on move in:
- the washing machine doesnāt dispense water
- multiple cabinets have broken shelf brackets which are making the shelves unusable
- middle stove burner is not working
I reported these additional issues to the leasing office (tried to go in person twice before just calling because they werenāt there during office hours). They said someone would come Friday (4 days after move in) as maintenance is āstill working on more urgent things like water heatersā. Friday came and went, and this morning I get an email about how my work orders are completed. I still havenāt even seen a maintenance person in the complex. I still donāt even have a provided valet trash can yet.

Had an appointment at Adagio on the Green, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Both the receptionist and the tour guide (African American women) came across as unwelcoming and unprepared. The tour guide arrived late, didnāt acknowledge us, and appeared more focused on other tasks while we waited. When she finally began the tour, she didnāt have the correct keys, so we couldnāt even view the unit we had come to see and potentially lease that day. She also struggled to answer basic questions about the complex.
We left feeling frustrated and shocked at the inefficiency and lack of professionalism. If the leasing process was handled this poorly, I can only imagine how difficult living there might be. After reading other negative reviews, itās clear that poor management and unprofessional behavior are recurring issues here. We have called and left several voicemails and even emailed trying to reschedule the Tour with no response to emails or calls! Ultimately, we decided to lease with Irvine Company instead. While Irvine company was above our budget, the level of professionalism and experience was worth every penny compared to the poor experience we encountered at Adagio on the Green!!

Extremely Disappointing Move-Out Experience
My experience with Adagio on the Green during my move-out process was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Despite giving a verbal notice three months in advance, speaking with a manager, and holding multiple discussions with different associates about my move, I was unfairly charged for ten extra days on a month-to-month basis.
I visited the office at least ten times to address this issue, but each time, the assistant manager was unresponsive. On two occasion, he was present yet refused to take ownership or assist. This lack of accountability was a recurring issue, as he repeatedly mentioned feeling overwhelmed and unable to address residentsā concerns. While I understand that his role may be demanding, residents deserve better communication and support.
Itās been nearly two months since I moved out, and I still have not received any resolution or response regarding my fee waiver request. This speaks volumes about their lack of professionalism and disregard for residents.
I cannot recommend this property to anyone based on my experience. I hope future residents donāt face the same challenges I did.

Just an update on this deposit issue 01/23/2025- I called the number the property manager gave me below, but no one answered. I emailed the emailed address below, they said they would give an update a week ago but never heard anything since
still havenāt got my security deposit check back yet after 3 months moved out of there. My move out date was 10/06/2024, I called the office on 12/13/2024. They said they sent the deposit check to the wrong address, they would resend one and charged me a couple dollars of mailing fee. And could take 2-3 weeks to receive the check. Now almost a month later, still havenāt seen a sign of the deposit check. I contacted the office, but they always tell me they will talk to their manager, like no one there being responsible.
I am not sure if any one else experienced the same situations. But please do consider twice if you are thinking apply to there. The leasing office never respond any emails at all after you moved in, communication with the office has been the biggest problem for the whole year I was there.

I am extremely disappointed with the management and staff of Avenue 5, specifically at Adagio on the Green. The customer service is absolutely unacceptable. Over the past few weeks, Iāve sent more than 20 emails regarding critical move-out details and a fee waiver request, yet I have received no response. I even visited the office in person, only to be completely ignoredāno one bothered to assist or even acknowledge me.
This is not the first time Iāve encountered such unprofessional behavior. Communication has always been a problem here, from delays in responding to previous inquiries about lease renewal terms to this current situation. The lack of accountability and responsiveness is beyond frustrating, especially when residents depend on management to address important housing concerns in a timely manner.
Itās shocking that a company of this size operates with such disregard for its residents. I would strongly advise anyone considering Adagio on the Green to think twice. I sincerely hope the management takes immediate steps to address these issues and treat their residents with the respect they deserve.

I absolutely LOVE living here having moved into Adagio about a year ago. It really is resort living. From the beautiful state of the art amenities to the super friendly staff and attentive maintenance crew as well, itās not just a beautiful apartment complex the people really care about the residents. I highly recommend touring yourself and seeing it!

Iām a new resident at this property and very happy with the services I received through MR.Sam Heydari the property manager. I almost rented at Citi Light apartments but was very happy with the office staffs professionalism at Adagio so decided to rent here. I would recommend this property to anyone interested specially with the location super close to the freeway and shops.
