I moved into San Lucia Road in March and I love the place. I love the people. It is very quiet but very very friendly and I am very blessed to be living here. I love the manager Linda she is very helpful and property manager would highly recommend you trying to move in here

Two stars for the properties less than one for the company itself ZERO communication!! After getting their application fees! It took two weeks of calling and emailing with no response! Then we were told we didn’t make enough income based of of their AI systems prejudice and not the factual income proven in the documents provided and needed to complete the application! pretty borderline prejudice when they ask for all documentation and none is taken into consideration. We did meet all the criteria that was shown to us on the property rental portion of their rental process and proved that in the documents on our application. We were then told no one physically overlooked the application and documentation provided. 2.5-3x the monthly rent was proven! Sorry your company relies on AI ! It’s funny to see how quickly you respond to a negative review but no one responds to potential clients/ renters concerns or questions regarding a property after fees have been paid

Had an appointment to view a rental with Tracy. She stood me up after I rearranged my work and drove from Pismo to Atascadero. They told me the rental was now taken and she sent a cancellation that morning. Never got the cancellation notice but I did get 2 confirmation reminders the days leading up. Tracy on the phone was unapologetic and unpleasant. Would never consider using Academe again and will discourage anyone I know from dealing with this unprofessional company.

Fantastic Real Estate Brokerage, Cami and her crew were absolutely professional and responsive to all of my needs, as well as those of my family. They were always ready and available to answer questions, view properties and lend their personal knowledge of the area to allow us to make the best decisions for our home purchase. I highly recommend Academe RE, you will not find a better brokerage in the area.

They stopped replying to my emails but gladly took the $40 for application fee. They state they accept pets depending on breed. Might as well put that they don’t accept a pitbull. Asking rent monthly was 2,400 and I make way above that. My significant others cc was below but mine was above the asking on their website. I was looking for a home for my family and I was willing to rehome my dog so my children can have a home and be closer to myself since I am stationed at Roberts. Whoever picked up the phone that day laughed and asked where my dog would be staying at.

My wife and I rented a property managed by Academe for 3.5 years, and have nothing but great things to say about our time with them. Don was always very easy to communicate with, and when issues with the property did arise they were always handled promptly. Even for minor issues like dripping faucets Don would have someone in touch to schedule a visit within hours of me alerting him to the issue. We have since moved away from the area, but would happily rent with them in the future.
