De’ was my agent. I responded to a CL ad and usually when you reach out to an agent they are not responding at all or it takes hours or days at best. He answered promptly and I saw the apartment within 2 hours of viewing the ad. I applied immediately after seeing it. He was even early for the showing. Lovely person and didn’t leave anything out. Followed up with me to see if I got approved. His promptness was the key or I probably would have lost this unit to someone else. I really do appreciate the speed. Thanks North Star!

I worked with De’ of North Star Real Estate, he really gave you the sense that North Star cares about the quality of the property management and of the building itself.

I had the pleasure of working with De! He was amazing. Very informative, his responsiveness was A1. He had extensive knowledge of the neighborhoods and buildings we visited (locations of grocery stores, restaurants, etc). He was a dream. He found us a beautiful apartment with amenities we’d never dreamed of. He was so supportive and helpful through the process until we were approved.
Ask for De! He will get you where you need to be!

When we initially started our apartment search in the beginning of August, De was the first person we connected with and he showed us a few units within a new building in Uptown. He was very kind, gave great advice on how to navigate the Chicago rental market, and very responsive. After looking at about 15 other places and feeling defeated, De texted me to let me know of a one bedroom that he thought we might like. He was very flexible and able to show the unit the same day. We loved it so much that we applied the same night and got approved the next morning. Highly recommend working with De and with the North Star group.

De'Xeumxom was so helpful in helping me find the perfect spot. He went out of his way on a weekend to show me this apartment via virtual tour since I was too far away from the apartment that I am now about to live in. And it is so pretty!!!!
He kept in touch and was very communicative even when I was running through application issues later that night, he walked me through it. He is excellent and I would highly recommend for anyone to talk to him about finding you dream apartment!
