We used this property manager (PM) for approximately 9 years, during which we had a several tenants that rented our single family residence. Overall, this PM did an acceptable job finding new tenants and managing the property. There were occasions, however, in which an issue arose at the property that seemed to exceed their bandwidth and in such instances they simply dropped the issue on our lap or suggested that we would need to pay an additional fee. The 2 star rating, however, is largely due to the manner in which we recovered our property, and the more than 3k we had to pay out-of-pocket for repairs. Although the PM assured us that their tenant contract was very well written and would stand up to legal scrutiny, this was ultimately not the case. In the end, the PM essentially advised us that the out-of-pocket repairs for damages caused by the tenant would be our responsibility and they would not assist. Needless to say this was very disappointing and in the future, when we decide to rent our property again, we will not be using this particular PM.

S&L Property Management has been absolutely fantastic for over 8 years that I've been referring clients to them. They are great with customer relations and ensuring they treat people with respect and always have time to listen to any problems that a tenant or homeowner reports. They treat all parties fairly and at the end of the day they do property management better than any management company I know! They protect the value of the real property for the homeowner and the rights of the tenants. I will continue referring all my clients who are home owners and clients looking to lease a property to them because I know they'll be taken care of!

Do not do business with them. Look elsewhere. I hired them to do 1 job; that was not completed to the end. I have been away from my home for 5 years and I return to a filthy house. The renters have been out of the house for a month and 25 days. That's how long they had to get the property cleaned. S&L say they support and serve the military however I just got screwed. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Do not do business with them.

Gary has always responded quickly to any service requests that we've made for any needed service. We have rented our home through S&L Property Management for several years and there has only been a few repairs we were unable to do ourselves. On the occasions we needed service, we were greeted with friendly, prompt, and quality service.

Since you want to take five years to respond and flat out call me a liar, how about this: the owner of our property DROPPED YOU as their property management company because YOU claimed we didn’t pay rent for almost an entire year! Fortunately for us, we got in contact with the owner and out of the goodness of his heart he decided to FIRE YOU instead of SUE YOU because his father was actively dying at the time. If you’d like, I’d be more than willing to give my attorney the go-ahead to move forward. As far as your “claims” that we harassed YOU and were rude to YOU, that’s bold since you probably had no clue who I was initially.

Five years to respond lol… get a better representative for your company. Hope your retainer fee is worth paying! 🙂

i had just moved to the area from out of state and rented a house from the sight unseen log distance. There were a few problems during the move-in, but it was more the fault of the owner being out of the country than a lack of response from the company. They went out of their way to make everything work for me. Considering how many properties they deal with, their customer service was excellent and they're always great about getting back to me when i have a problem. The office staff is always patient and helpful, even when i have not been. I recommend them highly

These are the best folks in the business. From scoring a highly competitive unit to an absolute pleasure through the move out process I would give 6 stars if I could. Diana specifically was the rockstar on the move out and legitimately made what could be a pull my hair out experience into one requiring the least stress. (Moving is still the worst but S&L was not a factor in that equation 🤣)

Kudos to Michelle, Diana, John and Jesse for demonstrating what top notch communication and customer service means. From the tenants perspective, they are the best in the business!
