My boyfriend and I moved into The Reserve at Harper's Point Apartments in May, 2019. Within two months of moving into our apartment, it flooded due to rain. We were assured that this rarely occurred. Throughout the past five years, our apartment has flooded numerous times, due to weather events, the maintenance staff flooding the apartment when attempting to replace our A/C unit, and due to a massive water leak from the apartment on the third floor. The massive water leak on the third floor, directly above us, caused extensive mold in our master bedroom closest, in addition to along the baseboards and around the door trim of the closet door, the bedroom door, the bathroom door and the bathroom closet door. The trim work at the bottom of all doors became swollen and rotted. It took over two weeks to resolve the problem of that leak. The flooring (laminate) was never inspected to check for mold underneath. The closet walls were sprayed with a mold spray, then painted over. The opposite side of the drywall was never checked for mold. We were assured that the door trims would be replaced and/or fixed, but that never occurred.
The apartment complex started going dramatically downhill approximately two years ago. Trash that was not picked up, other tenants using their patios as storage spaces for anything and everything, an unkempt, slimy pool, tenants using the parking lots as a drag strip and racing circuit, and loud music and parties going on into the morning hours. Not to mention that there is a homeless population presence directly behind this apartment complex, in which homeless persons can be seen using the apartment complex parking lot as a short cut to other locations, as is visible from the trails on the other side of the complex fencing at multiple points. The security gate is often out of commission. The courtesy officer is also never available for assistance.
I purchased a house in May of this year, but was advised by office staff that I would be stuck in the lease until September. So if you (the reader) are attempting to utilize this apartment complex as a short term living arrangement until you either buy or build a house, you will be stuck paying both a rental payment and a mortgage.
Simply put, I do not recommend this apartment complex. The Reserve at Harper's Point advertises itself as luxury apartments, but there is nothing luxury about them.

So far, I have had only amazing experiences living here at Harper’s Point! The environment is mostly calm other than a few hiccups late at night sometimes but if you’re minding your own business, you’d never know there is anything even going on. The pool is absolutely awesome and such a nice thing to have especially with how hot it has been. All of my neighbors that I have talked to, have been incredibly nice and sometimes I even get to pet dogs which is a win in my book! When it comes to maintenance, they have been incredibly helpful. They get things done pretty quickly and when there was a leak, causing mold, they were quick to come cut out the ceiling and put a stop to it and have arranged for things to all be fixed.

I will say, I have seen quite a few roaches, if you’re a person who is really freaked out by bugs. The only thing is to remember that in the summer with how hot it is, they look for new homes that are dark, especially outside on my patio. One thing that Harper’s Point has done is put me on the list for pest control which I greatly appreciate because they get things done so fast. I actually have only seen one and once someone was sent out, I have only seen them outside which will be sprayed soon, hopefully. Bugs sometimes are uncontrollable but I have been amazed by what this complex has done to help out with such an issue! I can say with certainty that I am happy to be here and I am enjoying my apartment a lot.

I have had nothing but good experiences since moving in. How he maintenance crew is timely, friendly, and professional. The office staff is also friendly and professional. I like having an exercise room that is open 24 hours. I like the pool and barbecue pavilion. I like having a dog run, and pet friendly facility.
My one wish is that there was a hot tub to soak in after a long day.

I have lived here since 2016, and that says a lot right there!! I have loved it, and still have no desire to move anytime soon. As far as the office staff, the maintenance team, the upkeep of the property, the prompt responses to any kind of issue, I could not be more satisfied!
I have also always felt safe here! There have been times I have gotten home extremely late at night, and never feel unsafe to walk from my car to my third floor apartment! I like the fact that it’s a gated community! That also cuts way down on any random traffic.
A huge perk of living here is having a screened in porch! Not only does it offer a bit of privacy but you can sit outside in the warmer months without the annoyance of insects bothering you!!
Harper’s Point is an established community. They have done and continue to do a great job maintaining this complex in every way!
It’s awesome to be able to live IN town, close to everything you could possibly need, but not feel like you are IN town once you drive through the gate!! I love the mature trees throughout the property which give it more of a homey, neighborhood feel too!
If I think of anything else I forgot, I’ll be back to brag a little more!! ?

I moved to TN from CA right out of college in 2020 and am so so glad I chose to live here! My roommate and I love the staff and the amenities. My favorite part is how tucked away the community is while also being just 5 minutes from Target! Also, maintenance is at my door within a few hours of my call if we need anything. Definitely recommend!

we lived here for about a year and a half with little to no issues. eventually , one of our neighbors started harassing everyone in the building to complain about anything she could think of.. other residents, the units, the breezeways, the dog park, etc etc. we never actually went and complained and then she eventually started complaining about us too.. so we started to avoid her at all costs. this upset her even more and lead her to being in the office multiple days a week for long periods of time.
of course we can’t blame the apartment complex for that type of person, but you can blame the complex for giving THAT type of person personal information about you! while being in the office for multiple days in a row, she found out what i do/where i work, and who knows what else. not only is it incredibly unprofessional to be gossiping with residents about other residents but it’s extremely unsafe and caused lots of issues. we were told by a few other residents that the office ladies sit and gossip about everyone, which is pretty evident its true. even after talking to the office manager and sending proof of the neighbor finding out PRIVATE information about us, we weren’t even really responded back to.
they will tell you whatever they think you want to hear for the time being, but then turn around and talk about you behind your back, just grown adults acting like children! the rent is so high for these “luxury gated apartments” and the gates barely work half the time. the maintenance team was always super nice and respectful though, which is really the only positive thing i could say about the complex. i would highly reconsider before moving here. don’t turn a blind eye to all the negative reviews about the office team OR how they respond to it. their accountability is nonexistent to more issues than just the ones i mentioned.

I first moved here in 2014 and recently moved out due to purchasing a home. My time here was been a good one. The office staff is lucky to be lead by a kind and caring leader who understands that people are human and deserve respect which she gives without exception. The office staff also organize fun events for the family’s and those that are single and still young at heart. The maintenance crew is fast and courteous. The grounds team keep the place looking like a golf course. I have had no issues with missing packages, mail, or really any issues with anyone. Folks are day to day working Americans that will honestly ask if you need help if you are struggling to drag something into your apartment (groceries, etc). If it wasn’t for getting the house I would still be there and decorating my patio for fall. Speaking of patios - they also have fun decorating contests. Earnestly I can’t say enough kind things about Val and her team. If you are lucky to get in to live here you are lucky indeed!

I have been a resident for over a year now, and I have ZERO complaints! Fast assistance by staff, clean and quiet property. The Boss lady is the most amazing property manager that I have encountered thus far. She talked to me when I put in my application and suggested a unit different than what I originally picked. She based her suggestion off of our conversation and what a perfect fit it has been. When I say that I love the staff here- I mean it. Raven in the office is such a sweetheart and so helpful. They all often go the extra mile for their residents without being asked to do so. My best rental experience in Murfreesboro hands down!!
