If you have the option do not rent with this company. I moved into a property under their management company with high expectations. The application process was extensive but they were very helpful and accommodating. I toured the property 3 times before I even submitted an application and brought many issues to their attention that they said would be taken care of. That being said once you put your deposit down and sign that lease your peace of mind and comfort is overlooked. I will say the owner is very pleasant and understands that a tenant should not live under circumstance that she herself would not but my communication is only with Century 21. The fence is broken to the point that my es animals got out and animals are coming in daily which is very unsafe. I was guaranteed the house would be cleaned and as mentioned before many things would be fixed and 3 months into my lease the same issues still exist. lack of a mailbox which caused an $80 reconnection fee on my first water bill. There was a preexisting roach infestation that i was not advised of and every day i wake up to roaches in the kitchen, bathrooms, hallways etc. when i bring it to the attention of the office i am told “i would like to think it is a good thing to see dead roaches.” i cant cook or even unpack boxes because i am terrified by roaches and continued infestation. I am not being updated on when to expect these things be resolved and despite my rental history me signing a secondary lease may not even be an option due to the issues i am experiencing and having to continuously bring it to their attention. Renter rights in arkansas are poor so there are not many outside sources to help me resolve this matter. I hope things turn around for the better because there are many months that i am contractually obligated to this place and would like to stay comfortably until it is time to go elsewhere. The home itself is nice and i would stay longer if these things could be resolved.

Do not do business with this company. They allowed me to move into a home with a known roach infestation, fleas and strays in the broken fenced backyard, no security, water damage and overall lack of safety. I am currently pregnant and because of the condition of this home it has caused detriment to my health. My doctor also advised that I should be let of the lease because of those reasons to which they have refused to follow medical advice. I am also looking into additional avenues but they are determined to make me live out this lease. Please beware that this is more than likely not the place the you will find a home and your money is more important than anything else.

this has quite possibly been the worst mistake renting from this realter. they talked me into signing lease without a thorough exam of property.as I was moving in I discovered doors missing, appliances don't work, the worst filth I have ever seen in a rental. when I went to office to let them know another person who works there told me she lost a potential renter for same place because of all this and she put in a maintenance request 2 weeks ago and they have done NOTHING. they promised me repairs asap and they have done NOTHING. they knew there was a bad fire in the kitchen stove and tried to cover it up. of course I found it when I tried to clean.only 1 burner works and stove is a mess. dishwashher looks like it was used for a bathroom and does not work. their packet says we should keep yard clean - HA this yard has branches and a years worth of leaves and trash (BIG stuff) that someone will have to haul off. I am so dissapointed they lied to me and now I dont trust them to do anything they said. if you rent from them you better know what you are getting into BEFORE you sign ANYTHING

This has been a very poor renting experience. I had to pay to remove the ant infestation present when I moved in. It took 3 weeks to fix the range that had the gas stuck on because they didn't approve the parts in a timely manner. I ask directly about the water utility. The only answer I was given, was that the owner covers water. Now I'm told I have a balance due. This has been a joke of a time.

Easy viewing experience, nice properties at fair rates. I submitted an app for a property that ended up being rented by an app that came in sooner than mine so they graciously refunded my application fee. Great company. I’ll check back at a later date for properties in my desired area and reapply.

UPDATE: 8/5/2024-I am out of the property from C21 Prestige Realty. I've been in my new home for 3 weeks. Prior to moving C21 Prestige told me that they were sorry about what had happened and promised to expedite my refund as well as request that I receive the full amount back. Well guess what, that was yet another lie. The only person in this office that has exhibited any type of professionalism, understanding, and compassion towards me has been the manager Marlana and the receptionist who is innocent in all of this. Of course I am angry once again because I was told last week that I should expect to receive the deposit by the end of the week last week. That did not happen. They initially were going to take out for carpet cleaning in a home that had the original carpet from 1996 when it was built. I had made 2 attempts to clean the carpet but there were still long term stains that were resistant to cleaning. When I spoke to them about that, Marlana checked and found that the carpet was not cleaned on move in and removed this charge. C21 advised me that they were taking $75 dollars out of my deposit for lightbulbs and an air filter. The ridiculous charge for light bulbs was still there so I resent the same photos I sent when I first moved in showing that there were no light bulbs in several areas of the home when I moved in. I was willing to just take the $75 deduction since I had borrowed money from my family to move again and just needed the funds to repay them. We agreed that it would be ready by the end of last week and C21 would contact me to pick it up by Friday. That call or text never came and so I reached out today and was told by Madi in a text that my deposit is not their priority. The information she shows says that Marlana is still in talks with the homeowner or realtor they rented the house for and that they have 30-60 days to return my deposit. I remind you I was told my deposit would be expedited because they had displaced me and my kids twice in
a little over a years time. I was also told negotiations with the home owner or realtor was done. I thought about updating this post last week since things were looking up and I felt that what Marlana told me was true. I am glad I did not because here I am still without the deposit and dealing with rude individuals in the office who are restricting my number so I cant call back unless I call from another phone number all together. All I am asking is that they honor their word and resolve this issue so that they NEVER have to worry about me again. I would never recommend anyone to them. The empathy for a situation they created whether they could help it or not is just not there. Im met with rudeness whenever I am frustrated and told the rent that they are collecting is more important to them than this issue. I really dont know where to go from here as this has given me extreme anxiety and stress. I really just want you all to know what your signing up for if working with this company. the 2nd incident where me and my 2 children were made to move, I asked if there was any accommodations they were able to make like refunding my full deposit so that I am not slammed with all of the financial hardships of moving, paying an additional deposit and the rent somewhere else. I was already reminded of the rules and that they had to do the move out inspection before determining the deposit refund amount. The office manager was supposed to speak with the home owner and call me back to see if he would agree to refunding my deposit. Until this online response today, I have not received any other contact from Century 21. I would also like to note that none of the other information in the original post was addressed or disputed. However, I am going to do what is required by law as I'm certain that I would be evicted if I miss any steps in the process. Regardless of the fact that I have been a good tenant outside of be being upset about being repeatedly placed in this position. They ONLY work for the homeowner period.
