Beautiful area, just a little more annual upkeep is required in carr canyon, ideally the picnic area. The potential for this place is huge. I dont know if the resources are lacking but if they got the canyon cleaned the potential of fires would go down substantially. In recent years they have been clearing large debris and graveling the road which is nice to see. Keep up the great work guys.

This is an exceptionally beautiful place. There are many birds and there is a gift shop and there are picnic areas and historical sites really a wonderful place to go.

But the best thing about / the San Pedro house / that is what we call it here in Cochise County the San Pedro house. The best thing is the hiking here is incredible. It is best to come here in the winter and the spring however I went for a hike in the summer here and if it's not too hot I can be very pleasant. Wonderful place to take photographs wonderful Natural riparian Area. This is a natural River and if you are from a different part of the country it is just a trickle of a stream. But here in Arizona we call this a river. Just a really beautiful place and it is kind of not like Arizona it looks like a little string back east or up North with cottonwood trees and lots of hiking trails just awesome

Spent about a month here in the 1980s volunteering to restore the old historic Safford Morenci Trail. Remote. Breathtaking.

The shopping is sparse and there are no restaurants. I was hoping for a water slide, or perhaps some kind of massage therapy place. The kids were bored. Would not recommend unless you like looking at things and walking.

Many routes and trails pre-monsoon when only ground water holes are full. Multiple ecosystems, many species of plants and animals, remote feeling, paradoxical views of desert next to verdent ponds, via Sky Islands Traverse the trail is extensive and can take a whole day.

Very pretty scenery. We were actually just on the south side of the highway. The paths make for a nice walk and seeing water in the desert is always a pleasure.

I've only seen a small part of it. It was very serene and beautiful. It's July. Didn't get to see any running water. Seems to be open during Covid - restrooms also.
