I've been a resident for a few months and would give Wooddale more stars if possible! The staff are exceptional and always go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. All of the residents are friendly and make you feel at home. The food is first rate, and the grounds are very well maintained, and housekeeping comes once a week! Sometimes I feel like I'm living in an all-inclusive resort. I would recommend Wooddale Village to anyone looking for stress-free retirement living.

My friend lives here, and she truly loves it. There is always something to do and the food is amazing.

While searching the internet, I found Wooddale Village for a friend. Three months after she moved in, I moved in. Could not have found a better independent retirement community in a safe, great area. A beautiful & "like home" place to live where they miraculously remember your name. (I don't know how they do it). Great apartments, great food, great staff & great residence. Fun activities to participate in, a cute movie theatre, dinner shows, birthday celebrations & outings with transportation provided.

I searched diligently in two, not one, states. I was ready to resign myself to a dreary, unhappy old age. And then I discovered Wooddale Village.
Every apartment looks out to beautifully manicured green lawn, and fountains. The staff is friendly and helpful. Chief Charles daily produces delicious meals and if something needs fixing, adjusted, mounted or removed, every woman’s dream handyman Marco is there.
No wonder the residents are always smiling and friendly. Look no further than Wooddale Village for your next home.

After touring several retirement communities I selected Wooddale Village Retirement Community for numerous reasons. The apartments, with front windows and spacious back patios, are bright, homey and inviting. The amenities are outstanding and designed for a great variety of interests. The choice of items provided at mealtimes are varied and really delicious. The grounds are beautiful, well-maintained and serene with several water features. And the staff? Caring, helpful, friendly, compassionate, professional, resourceful and so well organized in every department. If you're looking at retirement living, definitely check out Wooddale Village.

The residents here and all of the kitchen staff are all very kind people but unfortunately the manager that runs this place is not a nice women. When my grandpa was passing away my family and I had to BEG her to let him die peacefully in the comfort of his own bed. His death was not disrupting any of the residents and most people didn't even know he was dying. Then when he did pass away everyone gave their condolences but her and her biggest worry was getting all of his stuff out and moving a new person in. She was very rude and lacked any kindness or empathy. We then had to beg her to have his memorial there as well. it made no sense why she was in such a hurry to get all his things out of the apartment sense we were paid through Oct.( he passed away in July. ) I've worked at many retirement homes and I will say take your parents somewhere else. Its unfortunate cause like I said everyone else was very nice but the manager and her office people who are all scared of her are not running this place well.

My grandmother stays here and it's great. She has her own one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. Each apartment has an emergency call button just in case something should happen.
Her meals are served in a community cafeteria, and she can have family or guests join her for breakfast or dinner.
The staff here are exceptional, always friendly and very helpful.
The apartments offered are not limited to a one bedroom. She stayed in a two bedroom to have room for guests if anyone wanted to stay over, but to save money she moved to a one bedroom.
They have standard Cox cable, with an option for premium channels. They also have free WiFi in the library.
They have scheduled activities, like a movie night, card and board games. And too much more to list.
I would definitely recommend everyone looking into a retirement community to add Wooddale Village to their list of places to tour.
