Do not apply unless you are flawless. Based on my own financials and using math a child could calculate I meet their supposed requirements. Score 650+, one car payment around 400 a month and unsecured debt of around $1000, 2 sources of income that are more than the required 3X stated, ZERO collections.
Was informed a week after applying my debt to income ratio is too high. APPARENTLY they calculate a car loan balance with zero late payments and a little over 4 years left against you?
I've read their responses to reviews and expect the same. Of course they are a reputable business who doesn't understand why applicants they take over a week to decline are upset. My apologies for the sarcasm.
Look at the reviews. Do you notice in response to any negative review they are defensive? It's worse than trying to say a doctor is at fault for anything. Of course they run a perfect business. Apparently the only negative reviews are from people that supposedly didn't meet their criteria or extortionists. Before they can say anything I've spoken with nobody since receiving their email turning us down. They can't fix this or make this right. People just need to know what they are getting into before applying.
When individuals or couples apply they don't also apply to 4 or 5 other places. They would expect to meet criteria provided and be approved. I'm sure in that same timeframe this company doesn't mind collecting $800 in application fees from 5 other couples.They are going to pick and choose between applicants and decline the ones that aren't the absolute best available I can only assume.
Word to the wise. Don't get your hopes up. Look elsewhere unless you're able to buy a home and just want to rent temporarily.
