This was by far the worst company ever I had to rent from! I got this apartment when I was homeless in 2020 nothing was up to part ans my carpet had iron burn stains and bullet hole shells in the wall! Interior was not up to part but hey it was better than the streets! Mold was growing constantly in my apartment and my water always kept coming out black for 5 year!!! Nobody did anything Chrissy sent her sons down last year who spoke bad verbally about us block people and always messed up the maintenance work even more when they tried to fix it!!! I was always tortured by my neighbors and begged to move to a different unit after police got involved but christen said no!! A man also got kilt behind my house and people came out several times to jump me for no reason. Now all of a sudden I move I owe them thousands and damages when they did an inspection constantly! Please don’t do business with these racist people! The mold almost took me out of here and I have documents from my doctor and that black water damaged my skin now they are after my credit but I won’t stop until I make them go viral for all they have done against me! Please rent else where

I rented from them in 2017 til 2021..air-condition leaked into a bucket into closet. Roaches helped me move in Neighbor had live chickens inside his apartment .Smelled bad of cigarettes. Cigarette burns all over carpet..I was sick the whole time I was there..Had to move out fast .Trying to sue me for new updates that were not done until after they sold property and new owners did updates. I know because I have a friend that still lives there .I had severe asthma from roaches and probable mold.

They don't deserve a star but I have to give them at least one. Not very happy with Chalkville Landing apartments about any of the things that goes on. I currently live in the apartment's now and they keep raising the rent for this place. They don't have the pool fix, you can not stand and talk on the sidewalk or in the breezeway to your neighbors or friends. Your kids can not play in the open field that's sits in the middle of the apartments, your kids have to go just about entire block away to play. I moved in here because the rent was in my price range and affordable, also was worth the price of $625.00 rent + $10 ins. Last year they raised the rent up to $685 + $10. As of today they are raising the rent up to $825 + $10 those apartments are not worth that much money. Its a quiet place to live and you have SOME good neighbors that don't bother you or let their animals bother you. Saliva, if that's how you spell her name she is the landlord and she has a nice nasty attitude when she talks and deal with her tenants. I have witness and heard about her talking to people kids like dogs in the street and have no respect for them. I will move and will not rent from Hubbard properties ever again because I have seen other properties they have and they are not worth the rental either.

I have rented from Hubbard Properties for the last two years. The neighborhood is small and quaint with a very safe feeling. The maintenance man Ronnie lives in the apartment complex and responds to any issues immediately with the utmost professional manner. The apartment manager Pam is very friendly and takes her job very seriously. She handles any issues with the neighborhood within a day of being notified if not sooner. When there were concerns about drug dealers in the government subdivision down the road she had the police sit nightly by our entrance to insure our safety. In the last year every apartment had a new metal roof installed and each apartment was insured for the client to insure our belongings are safe in case a storm hit the neighborhood again. The owner of the apartments even comes on site to visit and make sure everyone is happy and everything is kept up. Rent is only 340 a month and includes water, lawn care, garbage disposal, and pest control. The next closest apartment charges 450 a month for a one bedroom with no extra amenities. The amount of care that the Hubbard employees have for the clients is top notch and I would recommend them to anyone.

Hubbard properties are slum lords. Their lack of upkeep, routine maintenance and preventative maintenance is awful. I would not recommend anyone stay at their properties, specifically Turtle creek in Mobile, Al. The grass is uncut, their mold within the apartments, and some residents are being displaced due to lack of routine maintenance. If I was able to give them 0/5. I would

I have rented from Hubbard Properties for nearly ten years. I love the small neighborhood feel and the management is wonderful. Pam has overseen my area and is the sweetest landlord you could ever desire. If I have an issue that needs resolving she gets it taken care of immediately. Don't get me wrong, the apartments are not the Hilton by any means. They are built in the 40s and have some issues here and there, but nothing major. It is just quirks that are expected out of a small house. However, for under 450 a month I get a two bedroom apartment with hardwood floors, ceiling fans, lots of floor space, my own backyard, pest control, free water, and a maintenance man that lives minutes away. The same apartment would cost 1,300 a month in Birmingham. I have loved living here and could not be happier to say that!

I lived in one of their properties in north Alabama for 5 years. The landlord is a joke. Calling Hubbard Properties to make a complaint or bring an issue to their attention is also a joke. I was told to e-mail our "regional manager" Crystal, and did just that and she never e-mailed me back. Also, I have a friend that currently lives in the same complex, and she had to have one of her legs amputated in late August, and they have yet to put in a ramp where she can go to and from her apartment to the sidewalk. Unless her husband is home, she is stuck inside. After talking to the landlord multiple times and being given the runaround saying she had to call corporate (which I'm sure she never did). If I could give these people a rating of ZERO I would.

Worst Company ever!!! Very disappointed in the way they handle their tenants, and the apartments. This was my first apartment and I was forced to move out due to the smell of a dust and mold covered hot water tank and air conditioning unit (have pics). Moved in to a broken fridge that also smelled no matter how much I cleaned it, they said they’ll replace but didn’t and after a couple of months of no maintenance service and ignored complaints, I decided to move. You have genuinely been warned!!
