The staff were very welcoming and truly cared about my stay. It was nice to be treated like a person and not just a number. My experience here was great. So much so, I stayed an additional night.
The room was very clean! The staff was courteous, the bed was very comfortable. Kudos to the restaurant staff as well. They were are all very friendly and welcoming.

I have stayed with them many times and I highly recommend their property. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, and the location is excellent. During my recent stay my son left his computer charger and they mailed it to me promptly. This is the first time I have ever gotten something back after leaving it in a hotel room. I have probably left dozens of items in various hotels over the years and when I call I am always told they did not find it. I am delighted that wasn’t the case with this hotel. Excellent, honest customer service lives here.

This was our first visit to Skagway, and we chose the Morningwood Hotel based on their reviews. We were not disappointed! The staff is helpful and friendly, the beds are comfy and the linens and towels are great quality. Most importantly, the location is perfect! We are less than 2 blocks from the busy downtown, so we could enjoy the peaceful porch area until we were ready to walk to town for dinner.|We also took advantage of both the Station (which is on the hotel property) for a yummy pizza, and the Happy Endings Salloon for a cocktail.|We had a great stay at the Morningwood, and highly recommend staying there!

Friendly service, clean and comfortable rooms, and great location. I have stayed here many times and highly recommend this property. After my most recent stay my son left his computer charger and they mailed it to me promptly. I have left dozens of items in other hotels over the years and when I call I am always told the item wasn’t found. This is the first time a left behind item has been returned to me. Excellent customer service is alive and well at this property.

Great place to stay any time of the year. The rooms are cozy, service is great, and the location is hard to beat. Right next door to the station, which is great. Near the stores without being in the middle of traffic from the boats.

We stopped in the gift shop and purchased a T-shirt, when we got home we realized we had grabbed the wrong size. I contacted the hotel and they were so kind in helping me get a new T-shirt sent out. Great fun place and the staff was so kind and helpful. A definite recommend stop when in Skagway!

Overall, an adequate place to stay. Room was large, had a nice coffee maker. Sinks were outside toilet and shower. One thing I found annoying was that the toilet did not have a seat cover ... looks 'cheap' and a bit unhygienic. Please get that fixed. A bit on the $$$$ side but it is Skagway and not many options.

Miss Tennessee did not have a vacancy when we stopped by but she made a few calls to other places and came up with an option for us. We did end up staying with her in the end as she had a cancellation. I told our granddaughter that Miss Tennessee showed us the kind of excellent customer service that you hope to run into when travelling. We were in one of their "budget" rooms, with a very clean, shared bathroom down the hall. Our room was quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the cruise ship traffic and we slept well.
