I love coming here each and every single time.
And I have done so since 2008.
It’s my gateway to relaxation. You can hike, bike, have a picnic, a barbecue, you can spend your day in a local bar if you wish. The people are great and the peace in this little valley is always what I need.
I hope one day to spend more time here.

Quaint and beautiful little town. Original buildings have been converted into shop but you still get the feeling of what Skagway was like a hundred year ago. Appreciative shop owners are great to chat with. Many are 2nd and 3rd generation residents!

A beautiful city in southeast Alaska. If you ever visit it and You are a nature lover, be sure to take a walk to the chain of lakes at the headwaters of the Yukon River, Crater Lake, Lake Lindeman, and Bennett Lake. It will take you about 3 hours to walk to the upper lakes and back to the starting point, and after that don't forget to stop for a beer in some of the local pubs that offer good beer as well as good food.

Had an amazing time on our Princess Cruise to Alaska. Went fishing for salmon in Skagway on a small boat. Had a great boat captain that put us on Salmon. The Princess Cruise ship restraunt prepared our catch tge same day for our dinner. It was amazing!

The White Pass train in Skagway Ak is a great trip with beautiful views. Try and ride in the last car. The rear deck is a good place for photos.
