I would give Astound Property Management 10 stars if I could. My experience with them was absolutely perfect! Everyone I worked with was responsive, professional, helpful and just straight up pleasant to deal with. Julie was beyond AMAZING! There were several issues with the house before we could rent it and she had a solution for everything. Talk about a problem solver! She’s a pro and just delightful to work with.
This is a stellar organization with an incredible staff and excellent contractors. They exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Highly recommend!

Julie has been fantastic and a highly valuable resource in answering questions prior to move in, as well as addressing any minor issues experienced on the property in timely fashion. Astound has been my property management co for the past 2 years. They are attentive and responsive and if their other personnel are like Julie S, it makes total sense why they have high reviews. Julie deserves a separate 5 stars. Had a tree slightly fall during these high winds and Julie had it cut, cleaned up and danger-feee within 16 hours! Made the neighbors very happy as well.

Stuart has been managing the rental of my house for the past two years. He has been great. He is responsive, dependable and easy to work with. He found the tenants and handled the lease. Much of the time he has managed the house, we have been totally out of communication (off the grid) and we never worried about the house. He handled all the issues in a quick and economical manner. It was nice to not give it a thought other than seeing the rent check get deposited.

Stuart has been managing 2 rental properties for me in the East Bay for 3 years.
He has placed tenants who are happy and well suited to the houses, who pay their rent regularly and maintain good professional relationships with Stuart.
Stuart is a good diplomat with difficult people (we had some renting from us before we found Stuart). He is fair- minded, courteous, punctual, and always pleasant.
He's very knowledgeable about rental markets and real estate law, gives good advice freely.

We hired Stuart when we were in the most difficult situation. Our tenant hadn't paid rent for 3 months and wasn't responsive - up to the challenge, Stuart assured us that this is part of the business and he was experienced. Sure enough, we got the tenant out, house repaired and new tenants in quite timely. Kayla has also been great and supportive throughout the process and handles our every requests timely and professionally. We've had new tenants in there for over a year and couldn't be happier. Stuart has been managing my 4 Plex for about a year now and I am very happy with his service. He had to deal with some tricky issues when he first started to manage the property, but he was able to work with the tenants and the Oakland Housing Authority to work out resolution that satisfied both me and the tenants.
Stuart also manages the repairs on the property. He has a Handyman that does good work at reasonable prices. I highly recommend Stuart to any property owner who is looking for someone to manage your real estate investment!
