Company kept deposit for almost 3 months after our move out date and has added alleged pending charges that I have receipts for and refuses to acknowledge my reach out attempts. After months of waiting for the deposit or any communication at all… they finally send a crazy bill that not only takes the full security deposit amount but also adds on charges. This is after our final walk through with the property manager in which she clearly applauded us for leaving the apartment “pristine” and confirmed that only the cleaning would be charged because it was a default standard practice and could not be waived.

DO NOT LEASE HERE. My apartment was filled with various types of bugs. Maintenance issues and requests remained unresolved. The area manager TRAVIS MARSHALL is completely unresponsive, careless and unprofessional. Upon moving out, the property did not return my security deposit but after countless emails and calls, I found some one professional and helpful enough to get me a resolution. However, the resolution consisted of them taking the entire security deposit due to cleaning and painting which was a complete rip off as the apartment was cleaned and I had no furniture in the unit while leasing there. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF and NOT MANAGED WELL AT ALL.

Maintenance number they provided for emergencies is no longer in use. Unwelcomed strangers enter regularly. Cleaning service is done shoddily.

To get results, sometimes you have to file a complaint with the city's housing department; Still slow but better than nothing.

Has had some superficial renovations but feels like it's become a slumlord's complex Also it took them more than 6 month to fix an exposed ceiling problem we had. I would look into the other complexes not managed by this group.

WARNING, the owner of this property DBA Pacific Crest Realty and also operating under Haddon Hall Apartments is Commissioner at Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles. His real estate company is operating as property management for his holdings. As a property management company Pacific Crest Realty is currently restricting access to the building K-town Apartments, also Haddon Hall Apartments from current tenants. Nine days ago they changed the lock code on the front door to the building K-town Apartments, also Haddon Hall Apartments. Tenants had originally been given the code, but no key when the lock was installed over a year ago. I personally made several attempts to receive a key, with management promising and failing to provide the key. On April 26, 2021 they left a notice stating that the code to the door would be changed on April 27, 2021 with tenants no longer having access to the code. The code was made available to shipping delivery companies. We were told, in writing, to contact them with a request for a key. It is now May 4, 2021. I requested, and was promised a key over the phone on Friday April 30, 2021 by 6pm. No key was delivered. I have since attempted to contact Demetria-the building manager, the Haddon Hall management office, maintenance, and Pacific Crest Realty's main telephone number, email, and online leasing system. The company has been unresponsive to all attempts, by all means, since Saturday May 1, 2021. Since this company has purchased the building listed as K-town apartments, they have erroneously served multiple tenants with 3 day eviction notices. There have been recurrent accounting errors with rent payments. They have also left apartment keys unattended in a locked closet. The keys were stolen and a tenant's apartment was broken into. We were notified of the key theft a week after the burglary with our locks being changed three days after the notice. In the interim we were left in apartments which could be accessed by whoever had stolen the keys. They have failed the most recent city maintenance inspection.

This company is trash. I don't know where they find the property managers, but Maria Hsin who manages the Capulet apartment building is a real piece of work. She is very unprofessional and does not care about the tenants and is money hungry. Do not associate with this unprofessional and shady company.

I am a former resident at Brookside Apartments. The manager and maintenance guys were always very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a spacious home with great amenities.
