I've lived at one of their properties for years and it's been fine. Dealing with this company on a higher level sucks, they're incredibly unprofessional, lack accountability, and do NOT follow through. Their contracting company, R3 Construction, was at fault for hitting and damaging our car. They rushed us to get an estimate and we did. The incident happened 02/24/2025. We sent them an estimate 03/01/2025 and crickets. They won't transfer us or give us the information to the people responsible to push this through and we've left countless messages with promises to call us back and nothing. The craziest thing is we have video proof that they are at fault and they've seen it but refuse to do their due diligence and get this resolved in a timely, professional manner. Of course, when it comes to collecting their money, their on top of it BUT when they're responsible and need to pay out they're dragging their feet, ignoring our calls, refusing to call back, and blatantly jerking us around. So incredibly disappointing.

AMC is one of the most unprofessional and uncompassionate leasing management.. they took over a property I live at. Had to call multiple times for maintenance repairs and still not 100% fix, they could care less about your privacy. Maintenance knocked once before bargain in. They loose your personal information and put a 3 day or quit on you to save themselves. Staff will tell you inconsistent answers on common questions you may have. I don't see anything different about AMC from the last management team but from them using force to get what they need. Even if they are in the wrong in the first place. Not like I can say sorry, I'm paying 50 bucks less a month until my things are fully fix. It's what I pay for and it's not working. They treat you like you have no rights and you have to comply with everything they say or leave

Maintenance member named Rafa Z. was very friendly and helpful during our maintenance request. He brought a cheerful attitude and was able to satisfy our service almost immediately. He took the time to make sure all the problems were fixed and was mindful of everything in our house. His demeanor was easy to approach and made me feel comfortable to speak with him. I appreciate him very much!

This review is for Ruben in Yorba Linda. He came out at 11:30 at night to fix a plumbing issue. Himself and all the maintenance crew go above and beyond to make sure the complex is always clean and well taken care of. They are always so friendly and helpful, thank you guys!

I am writing this review solely regarding my interaction with Luis the maintenance man at the Sherwood apts. He is great. He responds to his work orders very fast. I put in my request Thursday night and online it said he couldn’t come until Monday but he was here Friday before noon. He worked so quick and efficiently.

I don't know where to begin with. This is the worst place I have ever rented an apartment. I lived here for 3 years. They will loot your money and never listen to tenants concern. This company is a joke. I wish google had 0 stars option.

First, the apartments are really old and are not well maintained. Whenever you have a service request, they will take forever to come to fix it.

I literally had roof water leakage in my bedroom for atleast 6 times during the time I lived there. They came after 4 days to just to check. Their maintenance team is very poor.

Their locker rooms are very unsafe as well and it was compromised and broken into multiple times which lead to stealing of the important mails of mine as well as other tenants.

Second, their online monthly payment is very poor and unorganized. They really need to update that. Moreover, their laundry room is always stinking and very poorly maintained. I have seen roaches all the time over there.

Third, after I moved out from the apartment, I called their manager and management 1000 times to talk about my dues but no one answers or are even bother to listen to your concerns, they didn't return my deposit money ever.

I have lived at many apartment communities but I have never had this kind of experience ever. I am very disappointed.

So please everyone avoid this company and community and DO NOT rent an apartment with them. Horrible overall experience.

Since AMC took over management of the building complex, the cleanliness and follow up from management has gone way down. Management notified tenants that a cleaning crew would be hired at least 6 months ago. If they have, I haven’t seen them. The hallways are filthy, there’s a strong smell of dog urine in the common areas, the trash shoot rooms are beyond disgusting. The level of awful odor is unbearable. I can’t begin to imagine how much bacteria is flying in the air. You can barely make out the color of the floor from how dirty it is with rotting food on the floor. I have mold growing by my guest bathroom vestibule due to the ac unit back up. It’s been a week since the plumber came by to unclog the line that caused the back up and severe leaking from the ceiling and walls. I had to go twice for follow up to the leasing office just to get the leak fixed. It took at least a week. Now, it’s over a week since the plumber came and once again, no follow up from the leasing office management team. Meanwhile, the mold is worse.

However, our maintenance team is amazing. They are there to maintain the upkeep of repairs not clean or pick up dog feces. I find it ridiculous that management has them doing minimal cleaning when they would better make use of their valuable time with the maintenance needs of the building!

Make sure you don't live at any of there properties without an attorney! Especially when moving out. Even if you take them to court with a court order amount agreed upon, they try to "double dip" GET AN ATTORNEY IF THEY TRY TO!!!
