Very bad experiences. The property manager will not advertise the vacancies I n the popular locations (like Craigslist and fb marketplace) and wants to find tenants through agencies so they have “workers” so that she can have more power over them while the owners get less. She won’t even advertise is on the section 8 site.
She thinks that not having trash cans in the back does not affect the tenants from leaving garbage everywhere.
She will not give estimates because once or twice we rejected her estimates and she doesn’t want to “burn” her relationship with them!

I’ve been working with Seville Property Management for a few years now, and I recommend them whole heartedly. Seville takes on the stress and challenges of managing property so you don’t have to - and they’re good at it. When my dad moved out of his house, I worked with Maya to prepare it to rent. Maya understood the love we have for the house, and facilitated the process as if it was her own loved one’s property. She recommended great vendors, helped secure quotes that were competitive, was always mindful of cost, and found great tenants.

I interviewed a number of property management firms, and Seville’s approach, warm professionalism, and reasonable rates made them stand out. Maya has deep experience in real estate and business, and is an ideal partner to work with. Her company utilizes effective systems, and is excellent with compliance. She keeps owners informed of changing regulations and policies both before and during the pandemic. (As I write this, the pandemic is not yet over)

Seville was founded by Maya’s father, and has deep roots in Oakland. This company and the level of service they provide is a gift. I feel blessed to be one of their clients.

After interviewing several Property Manager's for months I was not comfortable with passing over my business based off of reviews.

I decided to attend the Annual Property Owners Expo in Oakland, CA. Attending the event I approached Property Manager Maya Clark, with Seville Property Management. I instantly felt her presence to be Professional, attentive, knowledgeable and respectful. The next day Ms. Clark and I begin our business relationship. Her communication about the importance of property management is amazing. She took her time to explain how she works with property owners and tenants.

If you're looking for a property management company who knows how to be Professional, knowledgeable on local/state rent control laws, and works diligent to solve tenant issues. Seville Property Management has done an incredible job of managing my property. They get repairs done in a timely manner, keeps us aware of ever changing laws in city that owner’s should be aware of and does a great job of maintaining tenant occupancy. Would highly recommend that you give them an opportunity to manage your property!
