Gerry and his team were excellent in my tome at Hampton Gardens. Any time I needed anything they were very responsive and did things quick. The move out process was seamless and they made sure things were fair. I strongly recommend this complex for someone that is looking for an apartment in the middlesex nj area.

Absolutely awful office staff. Rude, condescending, and only concerned with being nice until you sign the lease. Then it is an entirely different story. The two people I have dealt with this far have been nothing short of dreadful. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone, when you do the person you got has no information on anything and they always have to call someone else and “get back to you” which they still haven’t for anything I have called about. Save yourself the headache, find a different apartment that has a better management company.

Living here was nothing short of a nightmare, to the point that we actually left before our lease expired and just paid the remainder because it was such a hell full experience. We had infestations of mosquitoes, spiders, and ants, and would often get bit by various bugs in our sleep. The grass would grow to be above our knees, and centipedes literally crawled out of the cracks in the tile while we were showering. The washing rooms are absolutely disgusting. One has mold and looks like a prison cell, and the other had “out of order” signs plastered on it for months, due to someone leaving their wet and dirty laundry in their from June to December. Management never answers the phone whatsoever, and claims to never received the message whenever You leave a voicemail. There’s excessive domestic abuse, the cops are always there, and there was even a day when a woman fired gunshots at her boyfriend’s tires in the parking lot. Another day, I watched as the man across the lot from us punched his girlfriend in the face, shattered her phone on the ground, then put holes in all her tires with a drill. There’s no AC in the bedroom, so expect to sweat during the summer, and the faucet of the shower will come right off in Your hands to turn it on. And to top it off, we are being charged $75 for “not returning our keys and laundry cards.” I invite management to open the mailbox where You will find it, as instructed. I would have rather bought a tent and lived under a bridge then this pathetic excuse of a living environment.

This is my 1st impression of this appartment complex.
1. The idividuals I have been dealing with, Sheila & Tiffany have been excellent. When I have a question I never have to waIt for an answer. They have worked very close with me and I must say their customer service has been nothing but 100%.
My apartment is being renovated and my move in date is scheduled soon. I am a believer that when one moves into an apartment complex they will be problems. My view of this is that when people complain tregarding maintenance they should look at them selves. I say this because I believe that people who rent do not look at their living space as their own. Many people use and abuse. I am a home over and I spend and ample amount of time making sure my home is comfortable.
I will provide and honest updaqte to this review after I move in. But I tell you know, treat your apartment as a home or temorary home with respect.
I will get back to you soon but in the meantime try searching for the positive.
Thank you for listening.

extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience at Hampton Gardens. the pictures are very misleading. the only thing updated in these apartments are the kitchens and bathrooms. every other area or the apartment is not remodeled. The bathroom paint was peeling, roaches, hair, etc was quickly and lazily painted over. My car got towed even though all parking rules were met. Towing ENTERED my car and took the resident parking sticker out of my window and towed my vehicle. I had to call police to settle the situation and found out that this is how they try to get people to pay them. Consistent maintenance issues with the bathroom. multiple break throughs in the area especially the parking lot! The laundry mats are OVERPRICED and cash box is always out of service. you end up just having to go somewhere else to complete laundry. These units are extremely overpriced. The property manager is not genuine at all. She constantly asked me for money even after insisting that I wouldn’t. Please save your time and money and find somewhere else to live. Not safe for children either. Multiple complaints about the dog park and residents speeding in and out of the complex. Do not be fooled. I moved out at the end of my lease and was lied to about the need to keep my security deposit. (See attached photos) Prior to moving out, so took videos and pictures of how I left the place and Denisse lied and quickly rebutted her statement after I told her I had proof of how I left the unit. 0/10 would not recommend. 1800$ for these units are robbery. Good luck first time renters 🍀 I’m glad so didn’t leave a review when I moved in! My experience was truly traumatizing.

This place is the worst! I have been living here for over 6 years and ever since the new management took over I have never more disappointed. I transfered from a 1bedroom to a newly renovated 2 bedroom, you can tell they rushed putting everything together. One of the doors fell off and broke, it took them about 1 month to look at it even when taking door away they never came in to replace it. My sink broke and they were more worried of charing me over 230 for the whole vanity (it wasnt even the correct vanity) instead of just the sink and never came to fix .What got me was that they wanted to raise the rent over 10%. That is ridiculous, I couldn't wait to leave. They took out unnecessary charges on my deposit and only giving you .01% yearly. Hope this helps makes your decision alittle easier on choosing your next place to live
