I lived in Meridia Lifestyles from fall 2021- fall 2024. I was initially excited to move in after my tour. I liked the proximity to the train station in case I needed to or wanted to go into the city. It was very convenient. I also liked the appeal of the Peloton in the gym.

The longer I lived there I noticed that there were ongoing issues with the facility. One of my main complaints was with the laundry unit. The washers were fine, but the dryers were constantly out of service. The dryers would work but no hot air would be circulating and your clothes would still be wet. I would wait for at least a few minutes to ensure that I would have a working dryer before I would go back upstairs to my unit. There have been times that I have requested refunds for non working machines from the previous property manager, Michelle because it was so frequent.

The cost of the laundry is also very pricy! $2.50 per load is a lot.

There is a gym in the building but it’s quite small. The Peloton was advertised as a big selling point but the maintenance of the machine has declined. The peddle straps for the Peloton are broken so it’s hard to use.

Overall, the living situation at Meridia was okay. The price of the rent doesn’t seem to match the quality and what we pay for.
