The Bayshore Beach Lodge is the best place to stay by the Jersey Shore! The location can’t be beat- you can walk to all the great restaurants & bars in Highlands, ride your bike over the bridge to Sandy Hook & Sea Bright or on the trail to Atlantic Highlands. You can uber to so many other great cafes, restaurants, & bars in Monmouth County! The house is spotless, beautifully decorated, AND dog friendly! It is our families favorite home away from home and Cherisse and Scott are the best hosts! 🤍🌊🎉

Walking into Bayshore Beach Lodge instantly put us in a state of relaxation. We love that this dog friendly location has dog gates to fence in the backyard, bowls, and lots of dog friendly suggestions in their welcome guide! The place is immaculate and the location is excellent with many dog friendly restaurants and things to do nearby.

My partner, our dog and 3 teenage boys had a great stay at the Beach Lodge - we loved the house itself and all the recommendations Cherisse gave us on where to go. The location is great, walking distance to coffee, several food options and even a beach dog park. We can go on and on but there were a few things we found especially fun and different about this rental - The design was sunny and uplifting - we felt comfy and cozy with their blankets and bedding and we loved their variety of family games. There were lots of other little details - like tons of coasters - that we thought were fun too. This is a perfect spot for a family beach vacation!!!

Cherisse has hosted me and my fiancé and our pup a number of times. We always feel right at home in the Beach Lodge. We love the design, the house is roomy & comfortable and close to bars & beaches. Highlands is a great part of the Jersey shore!

House was perfect for a family trip (modern and very clean) with my husband, parents, and younger kids/teen. It was clean, well laid out for a group with enough room for people to have privacy. Our trip was booked last minute, and Cherisse provided a list of the best restaurants and places to go specifically for our group, the recommendations were spot on and she saved me a ton of time & energy in planning! Highly recommend!

Definitely a 5 star property, location and host, also a 5 paw rating from our pup. Everything you could want in a beach vacation rental to unwind from the daily grind. Need beach chairs and assorted accessories, bikes, private patio, even a record player? Look no further, it's all included at the beach house. We definitely recommend a stay at this rental property and will certainly be returning. Did I mention the location is walking distance to almost everything the town has to offer.

I grew up going to the Jersey shore but never went to Highlands/Sandy Hook area until we stayed at Bayshore Beach Lodge when attending an event at the Sandbox down the street. The location is awesome, walkable to the Sandbox beach/bar and other fun restaurants. We absolutely love Cherisse’s place -it’s clean and well designed and the kitchen is full of whatever you need.

This was my first visit to the area. My son was accepted to the nearby university and my family was invited for a campus tour and other campus activities. I didn't know anything about the area, and I did not want to stay at a hotel. I previewed short-term rentals for several weeks and ran across Cherisse's listing. I contacted Cherisse before booking to ask some questions and she promptly responded. I booked the listing based upon her feedback. When my family arrived, the home was exactly as listed. My family was very pleased with the amount of space, the amenities and location. There was information in the home that provided suggestions for local restaurants, bakeries, beaches and parks. This really helped. Again, this was my first visit to the area. The home is well equipped with games, utensils/flatware/serving items/pots/pans and etc. There is really nothing you need to bring for a great long weekend or stay. While there, I had a few questions and Cherisse was very prompt in answering. My boys have accused me of being very "particular". I was very happy with the home and comfortable during our stay. My entire family had a wonderful time there and will reserve this home again.
