I lived in this apartment for two years, and overall, it was a terrible experience. I want to share my story to remind others who might be considering this place.

First, the pest problem is unbearable. About a month after moving in, we realized there was a serious issue with ants and cockroaches. During the summer, hundreds of ants would swarm the wooden balcony, and if you opened the floor-to-ceiling windows, they’d come right into the living room. It was a constant nightmare trying to keep them at bay.

The management is another major issue. The parking spaces are completely unorganized, with no assigned spots and the entire area open to the public. More than once, we found random cars, some of them damaged, taking up parking spots. To make matters worse, there were people loitering around late at night, drinking and shouting. If you have children, this is definitely something to keep in mind, as it can be very disturbing.

The most disappointing part of our experience came when we had to break our lease three months early. While we understood that our deposit would be taken, we didn’t expect to be charged for the remaining rent if the apartment wasn’t rented during that time. The whole process was completely non-transparent—management never informed us if the apartment had been listed or rented out, and we were blindsided with a $5,000 bill four months later for the remaining rent. We even asked if we could find someone to take over the lease ourselves by signing the transfer contract in front of the staff, but management refused. This felt particularly unfair, especially since many other apartments in Jersey allow this option. It seemed to me that they preferred to find a new tenant themselves, likely because there’s no cap on how much they can raise the rent each year. When we moved out, we foundthat the rent had been raised to $2,000, while we had been paying around $1,750.

If you’re considering moving into this apartment, I strongly suggest you think twice. Be sure to thoroughly research other options before making your decision.

Ms. Irina in the rental office is incredible and has helped my family with all questions or problems. Ms Irina is definitely an asset to their company, she is excellent. This is a good place to live, my daughter has lived here for a year she is very happy

The Northview Drive , play area has swings and slides which are damaged, rusted and broken. Even after repeated emails and follow ups, no action taken on the complaints raised regarding the Northview drive play area. Kids are getting injured while playing. I want to take necessary action on it either by replacing with new slides swings and benches or by removing the damaged ones to avoid further more injuries to kids .
First come and inspect the area then you will come to know how much damage is caused. Waited for more than 5 months and still no response from you. Our kids are getting hurt. Poor and Zero Maintenance. The bench was replaced with new one after this review but still the slides and swings not fixed.

We stayed in Southridge woods community for more than 5 years and it is one of the best apartment communities that we have ever lived. Very spacious, closets for each room, and most of the appliances were pretty new. Also, whenever we had any issues, maintenance team resolved it within a working day and in case of any big issues in appliances, they were either fixed and replaced with working ones. In case of emergency service requests, the issue got fixed within couple of hours. For the rent price they are charging, we get more square feet as well which you can never see in this neighborhood. With 6 month of winter during every year and kids being indoor during winter, the spacious rooms and spacious living area helped me to manage my kids.

We have recently moved to Southridge Woods Apartments. I would say it is one of the best apartments to stay. it is more spacious with Better parking, big play area , garden with Swimming pools. Apartment has everything like new fridge, oven, washer, dryer semi furnished. In Overall never seen such luxurious Apartment and has all the required amenities. Manager and staffs are very good and proactive.

No maintenance outside the patio area. Landscape is not maintained properly. Bushes and no one seems clean the apartment. The kids play area is worst. It seems like 5 years old. Zero maintenance. Appreciate if apartment management looks into it.

Overall, I've had a positive experience living at Southridge Woods Apartments. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. However, I encountered an issue with my dishwasher two months ago and haven't received a response after following up on my emails and tickets. I would appreciate a prompt response to get this appliance fixed

Apartments are nice enough for size and pricing of this area.
Customer service from both maintenance team and front office is bad. Very slow to respond to service requests and almost can never get somebody to pick up the phone when you call the office.
