Love this community. The homes are really nice and the people are very friendly. Lots of activities or you can just relax. Although it bothers some of the people here I love the wildlife.

Living here almost 3 years . Nice neighborhood nice neighbors. Everytime I want to do improvements on my home I go through proper channels approvals and so on. I get. approved then I'm kind of investigated don't know why but I don't like that feeling. I improve my home instead of worrying about what I.am Doing and I'm doing everything properly worry about some of the homes that don't homes look like there is a circus on their lawns.. go after them.. so many jealous people I never experienced people like this. We are new people moving in approving our homes making the blocks look better then other people do it. Increases value. There are many many homes that should be fined for their horrible appearances. Give a warning. I go by the book and I still get called. I know many that have not and get away with it. Don't pick on people who work hard for their money and make their home nice. New and more people moving in makeit so nice. I don't care what my neighbor does or person across the street or behind me. I think its great when people fix up. I'm just saying rules go for everyone and jealous people need to mind their business.

south pool owner fired me for, "not showing up" even though I had someone come in for me and HE WAS THERE. I talked to the security guard about call outs and he said all I had to do was write it in the timestamp and that I did not have to call the owner. When I called him to defend me, he said he never said that and I was lying. He was such a great guy too but turned into a major a-hole once he realized he did something wrong. I'm pretty convinced I was set up so they didn't have to pay me the extra .50 cents they added to your hourly every year lol
so unfair, so unprofessional. especially knowing how dedicated i was to the job to walk 30 minutes there and back in the blazing hot sun!!!

Been here for about three years, and not incredibly impressed. HOA fees go up and the services you pay for are non existent. They spend the money on new flooring for the club house (during covid, mind you - so there has been no pool use, etc...they saved money I am sure and they even raised the HOA fee this year!), yet they don't send anyone out to dig you out of the major snow storm we just had. Some of us do have to work, we are all not "retired".

lovely homes. Caring community, great clubhouses, library, 2 pools, lakes with wildlife, lots to do with programs, crafts, exercise, Zumba, outings, low maintenance fee - don't have the costs of keeping up a golf course that not everyone uses. No front/back door gatekeeping, so you don't feel separated from society - but there is neighborhood watch and it is safe. .. and so much more.

Community is fine. HOA rules are reasonable and quality of life is good. However, Melody who works are the HOA office, is the rudest individual I have ever encountered in my entire life, and I was born and raised 15 minutes outside Newark NJ. My first encounter with her was mediocre at best. The only reason I feel she was remotely pleasant that time, is because I was with my mother, who is the owner and primary resident of the household. I was forced to experience this individuals presence again when having to bring one of the other residents to the HOA office in order to get her license copied into the HOA database... Melody was outside her car in front of the building and as soon as I opened my door she felt appropriate to inform me that the parking lot was for residents only and that I could not park my car there... Now I’m young and obviously couldn’t live in the community by myself, but to profile me before I even saw who was doing the profiling I asked her what she was talking about and she simply repeated her statement, verbatim, and stared at me waiting for me to get back in my car and leave. I told her that I was there to simply get a license copied into the HOA database and go back home..... to my house..... in holiday city..... She replied with a smirk, more sarcasm, and informed me that the office closes at 1 and it’s 2 o’clock now so “nothing can be done today”.
Then
Next day comes, I have work, and try fiancé goes by herself to get her license copied by Melody. Melody had one job, copy a license. Instead, Melody and the woman who works next to her decided to both interrogate my fiancé, (who literally just moved here from out of state) as to where she was moving from, why she is here, why she talks the way she does (she speaks with an accent), if we are engaged or “just dating”, if the landlord is okay with “all these people” living in the house (there is no landlord), if there is someone disabled living in the house (There is in fact, and it is the business of NEITHER of those disgusting personalities who work behind that counter), and a multitude of other invasive and rude questions. Her co worker also referred to my mother as “Kelly” about 5 times. After each time my fiancé interrupted her and said “Kerry”. After about the fifth time the woman finally grasped the concept and addressed my mother by the name given to her by her deceased father “Kerry”. My fiancé had enough and refused to be abused any longer. She let those workers know that they were rude. That people where she is from, do not treat others that way. She let them know that they need some southern hospitality in there life and not to worry about seeing her too often because we would like to be out and away from Holiday City as soon as possible because the people here treat others like they are scum.

What happened to the lawn service?
Last year was good but not now.
The lawn serve did not cut the grass when it became very high and them they did not bag it

What a mess, can't even go outside without grass coming in!
