New Tenant Observations...

Pros -
1. Spacious Rooms
2. Nice looking wood floors
3. New Appliances (ex. microwave, stove, & etc.)
4. Menlo Park is walking distance from the property, and so is Menlo Park Mall and Target.
5. Close to NJ Transit train station to NYC.
6. Easy access to major highways - US1, GSP, I-287, etc.
7. Large pool for tenants (unsure yet, if it's cleaned and used regularly in warm months)
8. Balcony for each unit
9. Centralized A/C

Cons -
1. No washing machine/ dryer in unit or in building.
2. The flooring isn't properly insulated, so the sounds/noises from neighbors above lower units can be heard daily (ex. walking, stomping, yelling & so forth).
3. Front door to building doesn't securely shut close behind each person that enters. So anyone can enter.
4. No rental office on the immediate premises.
5. Balconies need to be updated.(sanded and painted)
6. Noises from the trains passing can definitely be heard clearly when located on the right side of property.
7. The rooms aren't insulated well so it can feel cooler in different rooms.

What did i get myself into. To be continued...😩

I toured a 1 bedroom and these were pretty nice, large apartments. Management/leasing agent doesn’t seem to know all the details of the apartments though. They gave me the wrong address to the leasing office, since Parsonage Hill and Evergreen meadows are combined, the leasing office is on the evergreen meadows side across the street. The address on Google is also incorrect. The leasing agent said the interior of every green meadows and parsonage hill are the same, however they are not. Apartments are nice but I would beware of the management

Parsonage Hill Village is the worse place to rent from ! Do not rent here. Here’s why .. my mother unfortunately could no longer afford the apartment so she kindly let the office know with a letter her situation and she will be giving up the apartment on the 31st of December. Parsonage Hill Village owners or whoever letter gets to had the audacity to not consider her situation and on top of that make her pay for stuff that they didn’t even take care of when my mother first moved there. Starting with the count of mouses that we would constantly see. Yes mouses I said. We reported it to the leasing office and guess what they did ? Nothing! Ever. Second, we had reported of our above neighbors children riding bicycles and running at 5 am in the morning with no care in the world or the loud stomping of the grown adult to the point we would have frames fall from how hard the stomping was. We reported it to the leasing office. Guess what they did ? Nothing as well. Third, since the day we moved they stated they painted the apartment and come to find out they only primed the walls yet want to charge my mother over $600 to repaint the apartment. Fourth, we had explained to them the balcony door was broken and made a noise whenever you would want to slide it open? Guess what they did ? Nothing. Never came to check or see what was wrong with it. Now they want to make my mother pay the rent amount until apartment is leased again or until her lease is up in March. How insane is that when she literally explained to them how she won’t be able to afford the apartment any longer. No consideration whatsoever but so fast to want to overly charge on things. DO NOT CONSIDER MOVING HERE!!!

It is a good location but an unsafe living place, with bugs and mice all over the apartment. And management is not doing anything to get rid of it. One of the apartment roofs collapsed and the township declared it unsafe. Management is never helpful for tenants.

Had good experience with leasing officer Gloria. She was attentive, caring, friendly and honest. She went above and beyond to clarify all my doubts, allowed me time to think over different options. She Has been very patient. She tried all that she could at her end.

Thank you Gloria so much for your support. Leasing office is not that far as mentioned in some reviews, it’s just across the street. There’s common leasing office for Parsonage and Evergreen. And I could see she was attending maintenance calls as well politely.

Rooms are specious, centralized AC. Buildings look fresh from outside too. Park nearby for sports, walks, recreational activities etc.

Once signed lease, will let you guys know about that experience as well.

I got an email from them and i called. The leasing office is the worst i have ever come across.
They don't allow you to view the apartment that you want to lease.
They talk as if they are doing a favor to you by being very rude. Check other people's reviews too.
I tried calling them to view the apartment for the 2nd week in a row and got to know that the apartment is already gone purely because of them keeping on saying one cannot view the apartment that they will lease.

I would give 0 stars if i have to the leasing office ladies esp Caroline. They are very rude towards the potential tenants. They have a basic communication problem and lack empathy.
I have been trying to view a potential apartment without any luck with them.
They dont follow through , change their own commitments. Take your hard earned money somewhere else folks. Not worth it.

I have lived in this apartment for four years, and I like its location. The park and many grocery stores are nearby, and the residents are friendly. However, the apartment's laundry facilities are very disappointing. Most of the machines do not work correctly, and there are very few machines for over 200 families living here. When I contacted the maintenance office, they informed me they were not responsible for the laundry.
Additionally, the dryer machine is not working in most laundry rooms. Also, the rental price is very high and increases every year. I am currently paying $1900 for a one-bedroom apartment of 850 square feet, I hope management can replace all the faulty laundry machines to make residents' lives easier.
