Prior to signing my lease, I was informed the apartment would be cleaned thoroughly. Within my first few weeks of living here, I noticed an abundance of dust and dirt on the floor by the fridge, in the corners of the closet, on the handles of the stove, and behind the toilet. This unit WAS NOT CLEANED THOROUGHLY! During my initial move-in, I felt rushed and was not able to adequately check the unit. When I informed maintenance of the condition of the floors during my move-in, I was told the building was old and he proceeded to sign my move-in form stating everything looked good and told me to sign. I've spent numerous hours cleaning this unit to make myself feel somewhat comfortable living here for the next twelve months. However, I am unable to get all the dirt off the floors because whoever waxed the floors waxed over the dirt. A few days after moving in, I found out my neighbor is a heavy smoker. You can smell the cigarette aroma upon opening the elevator door. The smell is worse in my unit! This apartment complex is advertised as a smoke-free building. As a non-smoker, I should not have to come home and endure second hand smoke. When I informed management of my concerns regarding the second hand smoke, I was told they can not control what others do and to purchase an air purifier. The location is great! However, the apartment complex is not. Consider other options before moving here.

I want to leave a review mainly about their maintenance guy Preston at colonial village apartments. I have been here for five years and since he came in a year ago he has been really great at addressing maintenance requests quickly and efficiently!

I've been living in valley manor for three years now and I'm telling you it's a nightmare.
I've had a roach problem that came from holes under my kitchen sink.
Something was leaking for some time I reported it no one came for months.
The wood got soft as a result, that lead to a smell of mildew. Going back and forth with the land lord Raquel in emails and calls to the office. Their Maintenance came and i kid you not ducked taped the holes.
I'm looking like this can't be real life I'm paying over 16 in rent and they came with duck tape.
They then told me to tell the Exterminator everything that I needed done mind you I already told them what I needed done. They hire the exterminator how am I supposed to let the exterminator know beforehand what he's coming to exterminate? Should that not be their job? This caused the exterminator to come And only put down beat for the roaches. It's a bait gel that I already had put down that I bought from my local supermarket. No spray no nothing. This left out the ants wasp and stink bugs. I'm six months pregnant and stressed all the way out. Just sitting on my couch with aunts crawling on me and my family.
The maintenance team came last week in lied to my husband saying that they had never heard about the problem when I had spoke to both men face-to-face regarding the issue on several different occasions.
When I pointed out that that was a lie, his response was. Well, we can't help you. I don't think it's a matter of they can't help. To be honest, I don't see it as help issue it's more of a Refusing to do your job issue.
A definitely seems personal and very intentional. Because of this, i've had to contact the health department and send videos and pictures.

I literally am on the phone with this corporation right now and I was just hung up on on November 5th at 1:30pm!! Which every employee is working that shift needs to get fired because I asked for her name and she just said "I'm the receptionist", she would not give her name. I am trying to get back my security deposit from Laurelton Village in Williamstown, NJ and I keep getting the run around. I AM SUING!!!!!

Washington Way apartments in Blackwood- I am so lucky to have found a wonderful apartment here! I was house hunting but I like it here so much I flipped my 2 month lease into a 12 month lease! All thanks to Nancy Lopez’s help, Nancy is so kind, follows through, cares about the tenants she works with, remembers me and my dog’s name. Nancy is just amazing. The apartment staff you encounter are gonna make or break your experience, and Nancy made and continues to make my experience easy and nice. And did I mention my view? Trees and deer, it’s quiet here and just all around beautiful. Really happy tenant.

We came to Pineview Apts. to rent an apt. We were taken care of by Anthony Belser in the manager’s office. From the moment we walked in Anthony gave us quick and professional, and extremely friendly service. He explained everything to us about the rental, had a unit available and quickly did the paperwork to complete the rental. It was late in the day and he even stayed overtime to help us, we did not feel rushed, rather, it was a laid back meeting. We’ll be moving in June 14, and looking forward to it. We’re very happy to have met Anthony.
